I was asking whether people vote on the song's length after someone comment that it's already known that the song will qualify for the final. And judging by all the comments that followed, it's clear that people here have different views on the matter. Of course, everyone has the right to submit whatever they want, think whatever they want, and ask whatever they want. I also think that discussions like this are not arguments or toxicity, and that if someone has an issue with something here, whether it’s because they don’t understand something or because something bothers them, the only way to change that or make things easier for themselves is through conversation and exchanging opinions. The point is not to keep quiet about your opinions just because it’s politically correct.

If you say that longer songs will definitely make it to the final, are people voting for the length and the boldness of the choice, or for the song itself?

Why stop at a few extra days? Just someone submit the 138 hour long song and make the deadline six months

I was lucky there wasn't one more voter, because I probably wouldn't have stayed 10th. Which is totally fine, and I'm definitely satisfied with the result, but it would've felt a bit disappointing to drop out of the Top 10 with the last voter. As for my own entry, I already knew and loved this one. It's simply the kind of music I genuinely enjoy within this genre. As for most of the other electronic styles in this edition, I just don't have much listening experience with them, so I haven't really developed an ear for that kind of music. That made voting quite difficult, so in the end I based my votes on the first impressions I noted down during the listening through. I mean, it's alright, whatever the reason may be. I just think it's fair to at least update the list with the people who have already voted (I voted before the deadline and I'm still not on it), or simply let us know if you're not feeling well, don't have the energy, or if work, family, or other commitments have gotten in the way. I understand that the host should always be respected, but I also think the participants who did everything on time deserve the same. Nothing personal against Allstar. I understand that people here are generally pretty relaxed when it comes to deadlines and schedules.

This is genuinely horrifying on so many levels.... This man deserves to face legal consequences for coercing and intimidating the majority of smaller associations and countries through financial pressure.
