For this reason, the symbol of the state is the "Moon fish", the only known being believed to both inhabit and pass through the Lost Quarter. The Moon fish is said to be visible only as a reflection, never as a physical body. Its name comes from the legend that it shimmers like moonlight on the water at night. It is said to reveal itself in its full form only to those who have crossed three quarters of the path toward the final Lost quarter. Ennea derives from the Ancient Greek word ἐννέα (ennéa), meaning nine. In Ennean belief, nine is the number of completeness and perfection—a symbol of wholeness, balance, and the full cycle of existence. The flag will be designed later.

More precisely, for me, electronic music falls into two categories: the kind that moves me deeply and carries me into another world, like a drug, and the kind I can only enjoy in combination with something else, haha. 😆 I’ve never actually tried the second kind. And of course, this doesn’t mean that others experience it the same way, please don’t misunderstand me. Maybe I’m talking a bit too much. 😅

Congratulations to the winner and to everyone who is satisfied with their placements. To be completely honest, I didn’t really like the songs. Most of them felt either too ordinary and amateurish to me, or totally incomprehensible — like some higher level of consciousness and abstraction that just isn’t for me. 🤣 I guess I could compare it to certain heavier types of metal music that simply aren’t listenable to everyone, when the vocalist growls throughout the entire song and it just blasts the same fast tempo straight into your brain for 3+ minutes. That’s how I feel about some electronic music as well, like Michael’s song. I just don’t get it. 😄 But in the end, it was fun to follow the results and take part, so maybe my musical awareness will expand with new experiences. 😊 I would also like to thank the Doctor Blind for the kind words and for the warmth and hospitality shown to me, as well as everyone who voted for Arca. 💙

Hey everyone! Honestly, I had no idea what to expect here or what kind of music you’re into, so I decided to send something upbeat that could get you moving but still has that retro vibe. As for YouTube, I picked the version with the only video I could find because it just seemed funny and kind of cute to me. I’m really happy with the results, the winning song was actually the one I gave my 12 points to! I also have to say this whole edition was great, there are quite a few songs I’ll keep listening to that I didn’t even know about before. I’m really glad I joined in!! @blacksquare Haha, Alice in Chains stuck with me from high school — I used to write them down in those slam books all the time, so it kind of came out on autopilot. 😄 But since I’m more of a poetic soul (and didn’t want it to sound too dark and creepy), I added Nick Cave to balance it out. 😂 But he’s pretty dark too… I guess I just can’t escape it 🙈

I am thrilled with this forum, no kidding!! It’s truly a treasure trove of music. From what I’ve seen so far, your contests and rules are very thoughtfully organized, and each one seems to have its own purpose, while everything aims for fairness and balance among the songs, which I really like.

I had a quick look around and noticed that one of your members mentioned that no one had joined since September last year, which I took as a sign to create an account and join in. I’ve got some experience with forum competitions, mostly on Eurovision forums, but I’m looking for something a bit different and more general right now.
