Wow yeh it really does sound like 'Cry Me Out'!

 

I like it, but I haven't grown to LOVE it just yet. I like Justin's chest voice in general, but his head voice in this is a little grating in this song. Ari kills it as always.

I did a whole plan on notepad (cause of covid boredom) and Problem/Dangerous Woman was my choice here, so... which is actually LIKED more, I'd say Dangerous Woman, she ain't gonna be used in another round.

Ah I just love the dreamy, 90s vibes of it. It's the strongest Pharrell production on the album (although some would say that doesn't prove much :frankie:) Her vocals...she snapped. :cheeseblock: Missy's rap isn't the best I will agree there though :lol:

 

It's the second least streamed album track after 'Blazed' (deserved!) so it's not just you dw, it's the whole GP who need booked in for a taste appointment :(

 

It's nice that some people are big fans of the track, atleast our girl didn't spend time recording it for no reason and to be honest my taste has always been questionable anyway. :P

I won't lie for me it's mainly because I feel like the vocals don't fit the instrumental well, it some how achieves being super monotone yet seems almost the tiniest out of key at times (that might sound insane.) Also not a big fan of the lyrical content, not that it's awful, I just don't like the whole 'borderline' metaphor. Not the strongest Missy rap either. "Wish you'd chew on me like fresh grapes."

 

That was HARD, I think I might have lied to myself at times too. :lol:
