There's some lovely songs on there. Her voice has so much soul in 'Funk', 'Ashes' is very Carly Rae Jepsen. 'Blink' sits in a good place, because by the time I got to it, I was ready for an upbeat song, as much as I enjoy a Meghan ballad. A few tracks here and there that seem a bit pointless after 15 tracks. I do enjoy her voice, I give it 3.5/5.

Yeh Nice To Meet Ya definately needs pushing, just getting round to listening to the rest of the album.

One of my theories, that probably made little impact the more I think about it is.... Have you ever been to a house party where they use YouTube as the music source and put the music video on the TV or what not... 7 rings made it to more parties than thank u, next.

Wowowowow!!! Song of the year in January?! And that Normani collab snippet that's going around sounds FAB also.

 

EDIT: Just seen the tracklisting and no Normani track, hopefully it's for her.

That's a cute little bop. I see why they didn't put it on the album, since it's a little bit repetitive, but it's a nice!

Yeh I really like Genetics, if they hit us with a great music video I could see it somewhat saving her career. It is definitely a tad cheesy, but in the way that it's catchy and uplifting, so it gets a way with it.

I see new Carly music is coming, instantly smile! Yes!

She does seem very out of breath, it did seem a tiny bit messy at points too, but as always she did a great job!

 

Sad she didn't win AOTY, I had predicted Billie and Lizzo to do better than her anyway.

I'm hoping the video streams will help boost it, I'm imagining quite big numbers.
