    Been listening to this a far bit I don't think I love it as much as No Tears Left To Cry or Thank U, Next etc but I do like it.

     

    I think I'd put it on par with God Is A Woman in regards of how much I love it. Definitely not to No Tears amazingness levels for me, still bloody great.

    I think as well, if you take the track as the satire pop that it is, then it's far more enjoyable, if you take it seriously and see it as cocky, it's fun as well, it's a little too brash. There have been a few instances where satire pop has been taken far too seriously by the majority and completely backfired on an artist. "Hard Out Here" by Lily Allen springs to mind.

    Ari has to be careful, Princess Nokia in on her case as she is saying Ariana has copied and appropriated a song of hers called "Mine". They do sound similar from the clips I've heard, but not too much as it's "only" the structure of the verse that's really similar..

     

    At least she's on it straight away and not waited something ridiculous like 4 years x :lol:

     

    It does sound awfully similar, I think she'll maybe have to add writing credits and hand over some royalties. :o

    That would be cool! However, imagine if The Brits did their unexpected collaborations again (ala Rihanna/Klaxons & Florence/Dizzee etc..) and we FINALLY got that LM & Ariana collab? *.*

    I would love it of it turned out they had videoed a Think About Us video for use later (ala That's My Girl/Love Me Like You) but also shot one for Monster In Me as their winter single and nailed a Brita performance of it then released the video for it the same day.

     

    Edit: Also Strip would be awesome!!

    I think that they’re not calling it a single yet because they plan to release the remix version and that’s when they’ll do the radio promo and the spotify playlisting

     

    That does make sense actually and now with YouTube streaming being included in the chart, they'd be clever to push it with the video at the same time.

     

    Loved the performance, the song is really growing on me as a single! They really sold it to me.

    They filmed the Think About Us video a few weeks ago though.

     

    I'm still hearing Ty Dolla $ign collab rumours and all sorts, we need to know what is going on, because I have never been so confused by an era and it's barely began. We are all here assuming it's due to the label change. :huh:
