That’s not true though it would have made it without the fan push I believe?
Also the label actually did nothing in the week, the only thing they did was drop the Karaoke mix.
It was mainly because it was #1 on Amazon tbh.
Didn't they also discount every version to 59p? That counts for something too.

Speaking of which...
15. STEP ON UP
AVERAGE SCORE: 6.2
INTO YOU: Nina West (9), jsweetxe, George.keh, Slick, JackTheeStallion (8)
BAD DECISIONS: chris152 (2), blacksquare (3)
Arguably it's unsurprising that our next out is the other Target (and 2021 re-release) Bonus Track 'Step On Up'. The track was finally added to streaming and download services last month to celebrate 5 years of this masterpiece album. Upon release it managed to enter the top 100 on iTunes and has since garnered over 1 million streams on Spotify already.
The tracks popularity was aided greatly by a viral mash-up with 'Gimme More' which has over 20 million YouTube views.
With its 'New jack swing' genre which includes heavy use of brass instrumentation, it's easy to imagine 'Step On Up' being included on the original 'Moonlight' album which presumably would have included 'Focus' to which it shares a similar flavour. Personally I feel that with a little tweaking it could have made a great opening track.
Ari has been quoted saying she doesn't like the song because she thinks it's boring. (Shocker.) She hates so many of her own songs, I can't!
We had a huge difference in top and bottom scores with 'Nina West' as it's biggest fan, giving a very generous 9 and another four of you giving a very respectable 8. On the other end of the spectrum 'chris153' and 'blacksquare' don't fancy it as much giving pretty brutal scores of 2 and 3 respectively. Scores were pretty much all over the place with most people rating it a 7.
Still no shocks.

Greatest hits in a streaming era is kind of weird.
I keep seeing people say this, but if you look at the current Album charts since streaming, it's 60% Greatest Hits albums.
If LM chose to release one it wouldn't leave the charts for a decade if rules stayed the same. An easy money maker as there's no need to rerecord, maybe just record 2 to 3 new track, get some artwork and the fans would be hungry for it.

Apple Music have started a new "mastered" quality to some of their music and are advertising certain albums/songs that have got the treatment. One happens to be Gaga's back catalogue and this album! So nothing really from Gaga's team, more Apple Music upleveling the quality on their service I believe.
Ahhh I'm with you. Well it's nice to see some renewed interest in the album. I'm checking it out anyway, sounds FAB.
