I'll vote later but in case anyone wants to know the tracks on Primal Scream's DIXIE-NARCO EP are 'Moving On Up', 'Stone My Soul', 'Carry Me Home' and 'Screamadelica'.
  4. Does this record actually exist or are people just assuming it's inevitable that there will be a Major Lazer song with Quavo? :w00t:

Thanks for the reminder, I've added the Prince track (which wasn't on Spotify when I did the original playlist).

In case it affects anyone's decision, that's the original 1995 version of Renegade Master, not the Fatboy Slim remix (which peaked at 3, IIRC).
  9. Just had to do a bit of Googling... Is there a translation of this that makes sense?
  10. At this point I just assume every new single released features Migos or Quavo until otherwise stated.
  11. The Millennium Bug was specifically related to the date though, rather than any question about whether it was a new millennium though. Anyway, however much we argue about when the Millennium started, we can certainly agree what 2000 was the start of the Willennium. VT_GG7q3vhs
  12. People listen to OneRepublic album tracks?
  13. Thanks, now I feel about 200 years old!
  14. Isn't this part of the point, that people aren't used to Calvin Harris music not being pop?
  15. And also the last Blondie album had all those re-recordings with it which was confusing.
  16. Tove Styrke released a new song today. Maybe there was some confusion?
  17. Things that make me feel old part 94 - people who've only heard of Tracey Ullman because of her connection to the Simpsons. I could mention that Neil Kinnock was in one of her videos but I don't imagine that will mean much to a Buzzjack audience. When I went on the radio to talk about my collection of Now albums, they asked me to choose a song from Now 1 to play and I chose 'They Don't Know'. It's genuinely one of my favourite covers ever, because I like the way Ullman uses her limitations as a vocalist as a strength.
  18. A lot of the replies to that Katy Perry tweet seem to think Migos is just one person too. Is it like Marilyn Manson?
  19. It kind of makes sense to me - I can imagine hearing a song and going straight online to download it, but not so much listening to it straight away. And whilst I'm sure people do add songs to their playlists or libraries, that's going to take longer to show up in the feed.
  20. Just to be clear, I wasn't saying that a record with Ariana couldn't or even wouldn't be a Number One, just that it wasn't the guarantee some people were treating it as. Anyway, the point's moot because she's not on the Katy Perry single. And people on Twitter aren't happy about that: https://twitter.com/katyperry/status/857339584505552897
  21. Ariana didn't help 'Heatstroke' debut at 1 did she?
  22. I don't think Radio 1 were that keen on playing Steps even to start with.
  23. Pleased to have picked up the David Bowie Cracked Actor RSD album today (Monday). After that expenditure (and a couple of charity shop CDs), will probably make do with streaming the Maximo Park album for now, and Texas if I get round to it.
  24. I presume calling a song "good crap" doesn't mean that it's very creative or meaningful, but that it's stupid and fun. I can think of a lot of songs I'd put in that category, even if I'm not sure I would consider 'Swalla' to be one. That said, I suppose it's sort of clever how they sneak the innuendo in.
  25. Lana now added.
