  1. Weren't there any others between T-Wayne and Little Mix (even if they get there)?
  2. Do we really need more members of the Cyrus family in the charts?

Semisonic peaked at 13 on the chart that was originally announced, but they were up to 12 on the corrected version.

I'd never noticed before that both versions of 'Last Night A DJ Saved My Life' peaked at 13.
  5. Yeah, I didn't watch it but I heard the trails and this song was in it. I was slightly relieved it wasn't all Take That songs TBH.
  6. As an older person, I can mention that The Rock (as he then was) has already been in the chart as he's credited on 'It Doesn't Matter' by Wyclef Jean.
  7. Yes, she did but I don't think that's available.

  9. Surely NYE is the one night of the year when we know people will stay up late? I agree they won't necessarily watch the telly though.
  10. Depends how far back you go. Once upon a time the week that starts after Christmas was when metal bands would release singles to get a frontloaded high entry on low sales, but that doesn't really apply any more so nobody bothers.

Some people say The Final is a better Wham! compilation anyway, because it has 'Careless Whisper', 'A Different Corner' and 'Bad Boys' on it.
  12. I've got a compilation CD called The Dance Chart and that has Wham! Rap on it.

I suspect it's not so much a case of him taking it off as of a deal to put it on expiring. If he licensed it for a set number of year that obviously would have started just before Christmas and so if not renewed it would expire then too. Remember that most of his catalogue has never been available to stream at all, nor even to download.
  14. Nice little birthday present for Bob Stanley there.
  15. Blimey, nostalgia for 2015. That makes me feel old.
  16. Coincidentally, I saw a 7" of that Jive Bunny song in a charity shop today. I didn't buy it obviously, even though it would be the original un-edited version. Strangely, I have Band Aid II on a compilation called The Greatest Hits Of 1990.
  17. TBH it's the sectarianism that bothers me more than the football.
  18. If you were scared of the video, you won't want to see my copy of the single then: https://flic.kr/p/bqfkvi
  19. I wonder whether the Hospice Choir have an early advantage because of their friends and families buying it?
  20. Been done, mate.
  21. These MPs (who appear on the single) seem to be holding physical copies of it. Unless they're only for promotional purposes. https://twitter.com/MP4RockBand/status/809037845310611457 Edit: there's a CD available online: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/friend...errer=happening
  22. Adam & The Ants only had two Number One singles: 'Prince Charming' and 'Stand And Deliver'. Oh, and some copies of 'Goody Two Shoes' say "Adam & The Ants" on the cover, but it was officially an Adam Ant solo single.
  23. Good point. But apart from that...
  24. I don't think Mr Blobby was a charity single, no. Was James Arthur the last Christmas Number One to sell a million?
