iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 10th May 2015
Glad I'm not the only one wondering this - I can't even find anything relevant on YouTube, which seemed the obvious place to look. I'd guess somebody did some streetdancing to 2 Unlimited on Britain's Got Talent, but I don't watch it so I'm not sure.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 3rd May 2015
Or maybe the usual number of people saw the performance and they just thought the song wasn't worth buying? To be fair, I heard a live version on the radio that wasn't totally shite. But I can't say the same for the recorded version. I don't know which the TV would more closely have resembled.

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2015
I presume it's just been thrown together by the record company at the last minute. Probably won't do as well as the Steps Ultimate Collection then.

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2015
Is there really no hype? I thought the whole comeback thing was supposed to be promoting this album. That said, I thought until yesterday it was just the same best-of that you can see in charity shops up and down the land, so I may not have been alone.

Do you get wafers with it? {obscure comedy reference that's probably too old for most people on Buzzjack}

Stupid question I know, but how can you "push back" a post-album single that people are already buying?

Top of the Pops reported to be returning to BBC One
Now I'm really sure 'Sugar' used to have an intro.

Top of the Pops reported to be returning to BBC One
Logistically though, how could you put TotP together within hours of the chart being announced unless it was all canned performances and videos?

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 12th April 2015
I'd think if you cared enough about Lethal Bizzle to follow him on Twitter and be influenced by him plugging the song on there, you'd already have decided by now whether to buy the song.

Unluckiest #2's?
I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek when I mentioned the Nick Jonas song not being good. I mean, I do genuinely think that but I know that's not really what would make it lucky or unlucky. I don't think it's the sort of song that will seem in retrospect like it should have been a Number One though, it seems like the sort of song that does well because it's by an ex-boyband singer who likes taking his shirt off, and it happened to come out in a fairly quiet week. I understand the point people are making about it being denied by streaming but at the end of the day the sales have been done that way for months now, and they already were in his home country. The song was available to stream, it simply proved less popular in that format than something else.

Unluckiest #2's?
I don't really think Nick Jonas is unlucky. It's not like the song is any good.

No hit wonders anyone?
Still not quite sure I get this thread - is it just everyone who didn't have a Top 20 hit?
-
One Hit Wonders of the Millennium
I wouldn't have put it past them to collaborate, but as far as I know the only connection is this classic Live Lounge cover: l6-iUhBTUws I'm still surprised they played them anyway. I thought 'Ready For The Floor' was a great example of a song that's the acts's only Top 20 hit but necessarily their best-known song.

One Hit Wonders Of The Millenium - The Snubs
Maybe they think it's a bit early to write that off as a one-hit-wonder. Have they even tried to release a follow-up yet?
-
One Hit Wonders Of The Millenium - The Snubs
Maybe they were just creeped out by the thought of R Kelly having keys to people's hotel rooms. I certainly am.

Bob Marley - "Legend" - Any reason why it keeps re-entering?
I'm not sure if people who actually huge reggae fans are even that keen on Bob Marley, TBH.
-
One Hit Wonders Of The Millenium - The Snubs
Blimey, has Ferry Corsten really only ever had one Top 20 hit? I suppose if I didn't think of that neither would people at R1.
-
Bob Marley - "Legend" - Any reason why it keeps re-entering?
I'd imagine it sells fairly consistently most weeks and just hops up and down as sales of other albums fluctuate.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 5th April 2015
Huh what? I mean, fair enough if you like the song and you might have a point about bias against reality TV singers, but at a time when about 20% of the chart always seems to be written by Ryan Tedder, covering a OneRepublic song is hardly going to be a "departure" from the rest of it. Especially not when Maroon 5 and the Script had songs charting as well.
