Biggest artists to not have a UK #1 single
Joanna Law appeared on TotP for The Gift by Way Out West, so presumably if there's a video she'd have done that as well.

Biggest artists to not have a UK #1 single
Wait, you mean this isn't The Killers? pkXKMOuDADM :w00t: (you've got to admit it does sound a lot like them)

Biggest artists to not have a UK #1 single
Paul Weller had 19 solo Top 20 hits (20 if you count both versions of Out Of The Sinking) without a Number One, though of course the Jam had 4 of them.

Biggest artists to not have a UK #1 single
Ringo Starr is of course the only Beatle without a solo chart-topper in the UK, although obviously he's not that big a singles act on his own.

Favourite Birthday hit
The Paul McCartney track is a live version of it (the Beatles didn't release it as a single). by the way, I bought an Altered Images 12" earlier this week... but it wasn't Happy Birthday, which I find a bit annoying TBH.

Favourite Birthday hit
Peaked at 65 the first two times it was released, but it was later remixed and got all the way to... 64!

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 8th November 2019
I'm so old I can remember when advent calendars didn't have chocolate in them...

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 8th November 2019
When I was young enough to have one, advent calendars only had 24 doors in them. I regard having a door for the 25th a modern innovation.

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2019
Releasing an album of Fireworks music on the 8th of November is an interesting decision.

One Week Wonders in the UK Chart
Dave Clark Five had two hits called 'Everybody Knows'. I regard the two Jennifer Lopez hits called 'Ain't It Funny' as different sons as well, though officially it was just a remix.

One Week Wonders in the UK Chart
Edward Heath the Prime Minister did have a recording career too, though no hit singles: https://www.discogs.com/artist/81775-Edward-Heath

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2019
When I was the age most people on this site are, I would never have imagined that I would one day see somebody refer to ELO as "indie/alt".

New Release Schedule: Friday 18 October
Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott - Manchester Calling [album] 6th March 2020 ...Somebody already tweeted at Abbott to ask why they're not playing Manchester on the tour though.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C Oct 11th 2019
Although pedantically, the album originally came out in 1998 so it'll be the 20th anniversary of when most people bought it.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 13th September 2019
I presume there's a good reason why a 25-year old Boz Scaggs track is charting? He still seems to be alive.

HMV to open Europe's largest entertainment store- Birmingham
I actually was in the Uxbridge branch yesterday, which is technically in London. They've definitely boosted the vinyl (and made it more browsable) since the reopening.

OCC: Artists who have collaborated more than once
Do Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway count? And if you count groups, UB40 & Chrissie Hynde.
