  1. "I'll make a cup of coffee for your head". Well, fair enough, that's where most people's mouths are.
  2. It is an acknowledged sample (as is the Marlena Shaw track that the Blue Boy sampled). I thought there was a tiny bit of 'Shy Guy' by Diana King in the verse as well.
  3. I liked quite a few Harry Styles tracks from this album/era, but I find Falling a bit too whiny.
  4. I know it's off-topic but that Hooray And The Henrys record is quite something, a medley of parodies of popular songs with the lyrics rewritten to be about posh people.

  6. I've got Dub Be Good To Me by Beats International. Which is a great record obviously, but I'm struggling to find any relevance in it TBH. Number 12 was Blue Savannah by Erasure.
  7. The Four Tops track was a new track - they returned to Motown for a couple of albums in the 80s (this one was called Back Where I Belong). I actually bought that Haircut 100 single on 12" recently, it's from the post Nick Heyward era but it's not a bad song.
  8. Two ex-Buzzcocks in the recent bunch there.

I think the physical formats of the Bowie EP sold out on pre-order, although I guess that's a bit of a moot point under current cicrumstances.
  10. Is there some sort of social media campaign about this?????
  11. Joanna Law appeared on TotP for The Gift by Way Out West, so presumably if there's a video she'd have done that as well.
  12. Unless they released a belch at the same time, presumably.
  13. Wait, you mean this isn't The Killers? pkXKMOuDADM :w00t: (you've got to admit it does sound a lot like them)
  14. Paul Weller had 19 solo Top 20 hits (20 if you count both versions of Out Of The Sinking) without a Number One, though of course the Jam had 4 of them.
  15. Ringo Starr is of course the only Beatle without a solo chart-topper in the UK, although obviously he's not that big a singles act on his own.

The Paul McCartney track is a live version of it (the Beatles didn't release it as a single). by the way, I bought an Altered Images 12" earlier this week... but it wasn't Happy Birthday, which I find a bit annoying TBH.

Peaked at 65 the first two times it was released, but it was later remixed and got all the way to... 64!

Weren't The Real Thing in last week's mids? They obviously missed a trick not calling the album GOLD. Anyway, Bombay Bike Club have sold at least one copy since these mids, the woman behind me in the queue at Rough Trade was buying it.

Ysbeidiau Heulog was a Top 100 hit for the Super Furry Animals in 2000 (despite a limited 7" only release): cttikLIQnMg Patio Song by Gorky's Zygotic Mynci (number 41 in 1996) contains both English and Welsh lyrics. It switches at about 1:40: KVrg6av-nI8

Why do the OCC keep saying this is Georgia's debut album when she released one in 2015?

I think they playlisted Breaks Co-Op when Zane Lowe was still on Radio 1 too.

Never thought I'd see Stephen Hough as the highest new entry!
  23. What happened to Gay Gordon And His Mince Pies? RIP
  24. Where I work (I won't be specific but let's say it involves finance) we have apprentices who work in the office part of the week and go to college on the other days.
