for reference, her previous highest Australian albums chart position was #57 in 2014 - she hadn't charted an album there since 2018! -
I think people can sometimes play favourites here for sure but there's also a definite difference in how it comes across when it's Taylor doing it versus Tinashe, given Tinashe's largely been (undeservedly) underground in her success outside of her occasional mainstream crossover moments (Nasty, No Broke Boys + 2 On) so her team pushing discounts + variants to gun for a top ten Billboard 200 debut feels a lot less cynical than when Taylor does it given she already achieves massive numbers almost by default so it comes across a lot less positively (especially when she pushes them during other artists' debut weeks - TTPD deluxes for the HMHAS and BRAT debut weeks, anyone? to be clear, I do NOT approve of any conspiratorial thinking around these when they almost certainly aren't because Taylor has any vendetta against these artists specifically but rather just because she wants to get as many weeks on top as she can)
looking at kworb it seems to have been averaging ~70k streams per day normally - the Niall boost has only been ~20k so far but it was enough to take it from falling around the #200 cutoff to the mid-range of the Spotify Top 200 given the numbers are reasonably close

Fontaines are doing decently on Apple Music at the minute - Tongues is at #81, while Marianne's into the top 40 at #40
apparently the four released FOMO tracks are to be tacked onto HABIBTI as a "(FOMO)" edition the Choosin' Texas-interpolating monstrosity is on there as Solar Eclipse (featuring Don Toliver):
glad I'm not quite the only one who adores State Of Grace here 😭 - putting it as the worst is shameful!! Mine cuts it fine tho and both Welcome To New York and Lavender Haze are great too! I Forgot That You Existed should be running away with the worst track here though
Hennessey & Sailor Moon top ten smash when?
Patient Zero stabilised pretty decently at #1 with 342,234 streams but the other three deluxe tracks are still sinking - she might not get that top three lockout by Friday!
nice to see Yung Lean charting I guess just wish it was with a better song still a shame Ginseng Strip 2002 got its revival back when the reset rules were stricter, would've been fun to see it charting back in 2022!
💀 forgot they gave it a 9.1 given they only ranked it #42 on their year-end list last year (which was too low btw!)
SIENNA's ahead of HugeL on Apple Music now - still #2 behind Patient Zero but could be in a decent position to take #1 there once Taylor starts to fade. as for Taylor's other deluxe tracks, Babylon's down to #7, Cleveland!'s at #8 and Pink Clouding is at #10.
highest rated solo female album since RENAISSANCE btw
voted Danceteria Afterhours but would like to register a third party vote for Tinashe's Nobody Wanna Dance Anymore - SHOCKED she isn't in here at all given her album got moved to the Pop forum!
the UK CDs still appear to be delayed to October 30th at most outlets (I've been checking) - can't verify her webstore though as I haven't ordered it from there and it doesn't list any date on the store page

do you reckon the OCC'll accidentally omit it from the chart on their website like they did with Pylon on the albums last week? 🤣
how dare you make me choose between bad idea and supernatural! love them both
FourFiveSeconds moved up to #4 from #5 for in its second week (and down to #5 from #4 in its third week) although it peaked at #3 rather than in second, unfortunately denying it its titular set of numerical positions!
SIENNA getting a decent boost from the VMAs then - probably moreso from media coverage of her winning Best New Artist than people actually watching the event though given it's pretty irrelevant these days x
I mean all AI "music" involves humans whose work is being plagiarised- I mean "learned from" by the plagiarism machines
$layyyter i$ back up to #47! ❤️ #1, #2, #3 and #12 are the only positions not tied on the TV Airplay chart just put it out of its misery at this point! 💀
