Lulu nearly debuting top ten with a song that has barely 10k global Spotify streams - the airplay charts really do feel like a parallel dimension sometimes!

that's actually down from earlier in the week - they debuted at #64 on Tuesday's daily Top 100, climbed to #51 on Wednesday's and fell to #71 yesterday.

looks set to debut at #1 on the albums chart - it's gotten 20,811 sales as of the Monday midweek update

and SZA's Ghost In The Machine (on which Phoebe's featured) is only 4 years old so it would still count (even if I'd probably say it'd be on less units overall given its more recent Silver certification date)

not sure about that - Motion Sickness is Platinum, her remix of Lord Huron's Spotify chart perennial The Night We Met is 2xPlatinum and Scott Street is Gold. Nothing New is Silver, as are her solo tracks Kyoto, I Know The End, Waiting Room, The Gold and Funeral. [nvm didn't see the 'last six years' part]

good numbers for Phoebe - slightly higher than I was expecting, but I'm certainly not going to complain! I wonder if Lost Weekend is seeing its streams combined with the (Reprise) that ends off the tracklist - by itself, it's been outstreamed by a handful of different starred-out tracks (The Outside, Kill Me, Bobby and I Can't Wait).

the two versions of Clean Baby Sleep White Noise got 234,702 combined streams yesterday - that would've been enough for #3!

tbf I'm more surprised she got a day-one album bomb in the first place given she's always been more of a cult-following/critical darling artist - The Governor's Waltz re-entering today makes me hope she might get at least one charting hit this week.

that's what I thought as to how it gets into the Top 40, but then it keeps falling back after its midweek gains - maybe weekend party streaming fading out over the week?

does anyone know why My Place has been surging in the early mids the last few weeks just to stay out of the Top 40 by the end of the week - it doesn't seem very strong on iTunes or Amazon Music and those are the two main contributors to songs being higher early in the week?

it's less ethically messed up than I Run but at least that song had a discernable structure and vaguely sensical lyrics

can this re-recorded AI slop die off as soon as possible please?

fun fact: Man I Need has spent all but five of the last 52 weeks in the top five on Audio Streaming - three of those five were during the Christmas rush, one was its debut and the other week was Taylor's Showgirl album bomb. 44 of those weeks were in the top three - including last week!
