  1. Mr. Brightside and Dreams looking like they might both get new year-end peaks this year then - truly such a fresh year for pop music! wonder how much longer Go can keep on go-ing at the very bottom of the Top 100
  2. 2025: Jim Legxacy - stick PinkPantheress + Zara Larsson - Stateside (+ Zara Larsson) Slayyyter - BEAT UP CHANEL$ Slayyyter - CRANK underscores - Do It
  3. this is going to ruin the tour
  4. leaked setlist: /joke Self Aware Self Aware (sped-up) Reverse Psychology Self Aware (slowed + reverb) Self Aware (instrumental) Encore: Self Aware x Sweater Weather
  5. Ed has since lost two more openers - Aaron Rowe and FINNEAS have pulled out from their support slots in the last hour or so. really don't know what he was thinking with that statement, genuinely seems like he took the worst possible angle there edit: Lukas Graham have now pulled out, leaving Sheeran's tour down four opening acts - all of those scheduled to open for him this autumn!
  6. 2016: Beyoncé - All Night Frank Ocean - Nights Tinashe - Ghetto Boy
  7. maybe they didn't want to split Different Religion's tracking week in half by dropping it on a Monday? not that her streaming's been especially strong as of late (even if the material for the most part has been)
  8. maggotsforbrains posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Amoeba silver ❤️ nice to see Back To December (T.V.) and Piledriver Waltz go silver too - wish it was the solo Alex Turner version of Piledriver Waltz from Submarine instead tho, much prefer that version
  9. m8 it was A-listed on both Radio 1 and Radio 2 and charted on the radio for months I guess, but her label aren't exactly going to start pushing a hit from two years ago again when they're working three current singles (Be Her, Loving Life Again and her feature on Koe Wetzel's Jaded) to radio already
  10. Ella Langley's comedic banger??? like most of the hits she's had this year but I'm not sure where the comedy is in her material!
  11. Pure's genuinely good as well if you haven't heard it
  12. don't think it will I'm afraid - Jack was making a big deal of it being a world exclusive to those plays until the album release on Friday
  13. Royel Otis are awful (and one of their members is a n*nce) but the other three bands you mentioned are fine enough if sometimes a bit overhyped
  14. SexOnTheBeat's not on the album because it's from her EP The Provocateur that was released last year - I'd recommend listening to that if you like those two tracks but were indifferent on much of PRIMA as it leans a lot more into their "edgier"/more provocative sound. SUPERSCAR and DeathByDevotion are two personal faves of mine from the EP but the whole thing's good, I found it much better than PRIMA tbh
  15. sounded like it's an exclusive radio promo single - didn't seem like there'd be any release to DSPs until the album drops on Friday
  16. liking this a fair bit on first listen
  17. yes and no, fundamentally the charts should be a reflection of what people are listening to - the OCC already manipulate the charts with ACR and the three-track rule which already make them something of an inaccurate view of what people are listening to. charts are supposed to be for consumption measurement and industry usage just as much (if not moreso) than entertainment value, even if the charts are getting very stagnant at the minute
  18. Miley down to #59 on the singles chart! only one new entry on the midweek singles chart: #74: Fire In The Booth by Wretch 32
  19. saying that, (What's The Story) Morning Glory? was #36 on sales last week while Definitely Maybe was #76 - granted, both positions'll probably equate to less than a hundred sales each but it's worth noting that SOMEBODY seems to be buying them - both albums have charted on the Album Sales chart for all but one week (Record Store Day's tracking week) this year!
  20. the fact that Bloc Party could theoretically tie their highest chart position with that awful album they dropped 😭 (I know it'll fall back during the week but STILL)
  21. if we're talking about Dominic Fike's track, sure. Jamie Miller's song of the same name is... fine, I guess? not much to say about it tbh.
  22. the two versions of Clean Baby Sleep White Noise are only 12k behind Rein Me In now when combined lmao
  23. ⚠️ beat up chanel$ top fifty on airplay! this is not a drill!! Slayyyter - charting on airplay!!! ⚠️ lol at the 14-way tie for #27 on TV airplay - wonder if there were more than 14 tracks tied but they only displayed 14 to keep it to 40 tracks on chart!
