  1. realised after I'd submitted my answers that I'd missed the artist credit part of the question 🤣 at least I wasn't the only one
  2. that sombr run looks like it's screaming to be removed from the playlist - [A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A]! I'm sure a lot of folks here will be happy that bloodstream's gone but I'm quite surprised they've dropped Animal and Pin Up Boys relatively quickly from the playlist. nice to see Bobby up to B-list and oh yeah? up to A-list, wouldn't surprise me if Stop The Wedding! got moved up to A-list next week given its momentum.
  3. it's actually eligible for Platinum now, so I imagine they'll re-certify it soon
  4. there's wilder stuff going on elsewhere - on US Spotify, Panchiko debuted at #127 with D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L and No Scrubs is into the top ten in New Zealand! (the same fallers plumetted elsewhere too) have to imagine there's some kind of issue going on with stream tracking or something (not that they'd fix it or anything)
  5. I love it when she releases construction site noise (complimentary) - can't wait for the pneumatic drill that'll (hopefully) be ye$ goddd 2
  6. can't believe I'd forgotten about Massive (Attack)!
  7. I Know Places by Taylor Swift from 1989 has been certified Silver - the only uncertified track from the standard edition of the album remaining is This Love (12/13 are certified)
  8. ah yes, a fourth round of Oasis resets in three years - just what the charts needed to get less stagnant 🤣

looks like she might take the #1 album by Friday - she's only 332 sales behind Kasabian and her stronger streaming'll probably close the gap by then unless they push some variants
  10. stabilises at #25 on the Wednesday midweek chart - it should definitely still be top forty by Friday, might even challenge for top thirty
  11. yeah SIENNA'll probably overtake Ella by Friday - reckon ADÉLA's stronger streaming will get her ahead of Kasabian by the end of the week for an albums #1 upset
  12. SIENNA's pulled further ahead of Ella on Spotify - she's now now just shy of 50k streams ahead and has overtaken her on Apple Music and Amazon - feel like if she keeps her gains up on tomorrow's Spotify update she could close that ~1k sales gap by the end of the week
  13. the only place she'll be charting is the Imaginary Gay Charts tbh (no shade though, the album was damn good)

given they've been >6 hours late publishing their charts the last few weeks, I'd be inclined to think Billboard's systems probably aren't that advanced tbh 🤣

Luminate (Billboard's data supplier) and the IFPI put out a statement two weeks ago saying that they were going to start labelling AI-generated tracks as such, however such a change has yet to occur and AI-generated tracks are still charting across Billboard charts at the minute.

if you want an idea of how dead an AI "song" would be when performed live, look up clips of Fenix Flexin performing his Sonauto-generated hit RUBBERZ (which made it to #58 on the Hot 100 and #90 over here) - not going to link it directly here but it looks like the most disinterested miming imaginable!

much as I hate HugeL, it could always be worse - there was that one far-right extremist xenophobic AI track that nearly made #1 in the Netherlands last year until it got removed from DSPs and a counter-campaign blocked it from #1 there. (here's more info if you're curious: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wij_zeggen_nee,_nee,_nee,_tegen_een_AZC)

money. that's why labels (Warner Music Group at least) are playing ball. AI music could make them massive amounts of money IF the general public wanted it (thankfully they don't seem to - for now at least) given it would cost effectively nothing and you'd have an 'artist' [citation needed] who would never complain, be able make infinite amounts of music and do whatever the label wanted whenever they want it.
  19. not What Do You Mean? actually outstreaming Rein Me In by over 50k streams on the same day ten years earlier (yes I know RMI would win when taking into account other platforms but it illustrates how low streams are at the top of the charts at the minute)
  20. kind of regretting putting guesses on any questions that I didn't know now - sorry to have made more work for you!
  21. Not surprised I got Billy Preston and Cream wrong - wasn't sure at all for B so I guessed Billy because I vaguely recalled some issues not crediting him on Get Back while Cream was a total guess because I wanted to put something down rather than leaving it blank. Also seconding what others have said about the presentation images/collages for the answers - they look great and I can tell a lot of effort went into them! ❤️
  22. wish it was one of her better songs rather than a passable 'thank, u next'-era Ariana rip - SexOnTheBeat deserved
  23. worth noting that Talking Body peaked at #24 on the Audio Streaming Chart in 2015 before the Spotify charts website was established - Kworb lists its daily Spotify chart peak from its original run as #31

that Choosin' Texas remix he's been threatening to release on this project as of late has me feeling like
  25. at least the greatest hits album entering this week is only from this year rather than two decades ago, I guess
