  1. Willing and Able breaking the top forty for the first time?
  2. End Of The World debuted at #52 on the Apple Music daily chart so Bass Persuades being #57 already looks quite a bit better, it just depends how well it holds
  3. I do like this quite a bit - not the best thing she's released since Flowers though, bearing in mind Walk Of Fame exists and absolutely rules (also I didn't think Flowers was that good tbh but I know that's a bit of a hot take - I enjoyed basically everything from Something Beautiful more than Flowers)
  4. Miley's up to #57 on Apple Music now - SHE IS COMING
  5. BOBBY ADDED!!! $layyyter A-listed!!! love to see it! nice to see Miley get the instant A-list add as well, did not expect to see slayr get a Radio 1 add (even if it is with one of his weaker tracks, go listen to BloodLuxe instead it's really damn good)
  6. maggotsforbrains posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
not doing much for me outside of KGB and Ain't In LA on my second listen unfortunately, quite a few of these album cuts kinda feel like offcuts from that Tate McRae album/deluxe from last year. granted, I did think that album was fine enough and many of these songs are too, but this honestly feels like quite a downgrade from The Provocateur.
  7. hoping underscores can snag two last-minute votes 🤞
  8. I'd guess they might have started combining multiple versions' streams into one from now on - alternatively it could be co-ordinated streaming to try to get the #1 but it seems too big of a jump to be solely down to that (just shy of 40k day-on-day)
  9. maybe, that Lizzo album (predictably) absolutely bombed too though so I'd say it's not undisputed (at least Sam's still gotten some airplay this album cycle!) some of the songs from B*TCH are barely doing 300(!) daily streams and have >180k lifetime streams - all of Sam's album tracks are already over 300k total streams
  10. I presume they're pushing this on the back of Nicole's buzz around ADÉLA but yeah, this era's been pretty hit (KGB and Ain't In LA) and miss (don't care for Red Bottoms at all) for me and this falls more into the latter camp tbh
  11. Jolene but 9 To 5 and I Will Always Love You feel like well-recognisable tracks which I'd understand someone choosing as her signature song - interesting that Islands In The Stream (correctly imo) isn't mentioned much here given it was technically her best-charting track (even though it's been overtaken on streaming nowadays)
  12. Fontaines D.C. headlined Reading & Leeds last weekend which has helped boost their catalogue - I Love You has become a consistent streamer around the edges of Spotify's Top 200 over the last few years (as evidenced by its run on the Indie Singles chart) so the boost has allowed it to chart pretty high
  13. it DOES exist and has been teased by Drake, however it's (hopefully) just a bootleg/unofficial remix (he used to make quite a few of these around the early-mid 2010s) rather than an official/commercially released remix
  14. what's with the big re-entry for Kiss Me by Sixpence None The Richer at #85? seems very random
  15. Tuesday's Spotify for the main #1 contenders: #3 (=) - Great Expectation (+29,757) #4 (=) - Choosin' Texas (+11,359) #25 (+1) - Movin' To The Sun (+8,982) #43 (-25) - Jolene (-14,175) #46 (-24) - 9 To 5 (-11,281) SIENNA's barely 1,000 streams away from overtaking Man I Need on Spotify now!
  16. End Of The World (which itself underperfomed a bit) debuted with 14,256 units week one according to the Music Week sales report - if her new lead does similarly, that would likely see her land around the lower half of the top 20 (hopefully she'll do better this time around, the whole Something Beautiful album cycle deserved a lot better commercial success than it got)
  17. if it doesn't return before the end of the year, this would mark the end of Lover's seven year year-end albums chart run
  18. my bad - I meant in terms of data, i.e. not including Monday's streaming (like how the Wednesday one won't include yesterday's) but as Jason said it's probably just an early release of the Wednesday midweeks! I should've worded it better.
  19. stupid song sneaking in! looks like Choosin' Texas'll enter the YTD top twenty next week
  20. new OCC article states that Ella has overtaken the Dolly double to currently sit at #1, with HUGEL at #2 and SIENNA at #4 (all seperated by "fewer than 2,000 units") - I'd guess the article's based on in-between data from a hypothetical 'Tuesday midweek' so it'd be interesting to see if anything changes when the Wednesday midweek drops this evening (https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/ella-langley-choosin-texas-number-1-race/)
  21. SIENNA's ahead of Ella now on Apple Music as well, so if she misses out this week I'd give her the advantage heading into next week
  22. looks like FEVER DREAM won't get a reset - it's up much less than 25% on Spotify and wasn't reset in the midweeks so it'll probably stay starred out this week
  23. the new peaks on Spotify and Apple Music seem to be paying off - she's back in the top forty (#30) in the Monday mids and she's typically gained position during the week! hopefully she'll hit the top twenty next week with the album boost 🤞
  24. OCC midweek albums article is up - looks like a Dolly Double's probably out of contention as she's already behind: #1 (NEW) - WILDCHILD by Alex Warren #2 (NEW) - God Bless The Band [Greatest Hits] by The Courteneers #3 (RE) - True Confession by Bananarama (?!) the fact that Bananarama are ahead of her makes me think she's fallen back enough that Alex'll get the #1 album https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/alex-warren-wildchild-number-1-album-update/
  25. not sure how much variants will help Alex given I'd imagine much of his physical sales will come from more 'casual' fans buying a single CD/Vinyl whereas I'm not sure he has a large enough stanbase to move significant volumes of variants - I can't imagine many of his fans being willing to pay £77(!) for a Vinyl variant
