and for comparison's sake, here's eternal sunshine's day one AM chart positions (with the caveat that streams were higher back in 2024 than they are now, meaning its positions (pardon the pun) would likely be higher on a current chart): 05 - yes and? 10 - we can't be friends (wait for your love) 13 - bye 18 - the boy is mine 19 - eternal sunshine 20 - don't wanna break up again 21 - supernatural 23 - intro (end of the world) 24 - true story 30 - i wish i hated you 33 - Saturn Returns interlude 34 - imperfect for you 38 - ordinary things [feat. Nonna]

Ariana on Apple Music daily: #1 (+8) - hate that i made you love me #4 (NEW) - petal #7 (NEW) - kiss me #10 (NEW) - oh well #11 (NEW) - stay #14 (NEW) - big feelings #15 (NEW) - freak #16 (NEW) - like i do #19 (NEW) - never get over me #20 (NEW) - bad thing (bunny hop) #21 (NEW) - warning signs (interlude) #29 (NEW) - nowhere, nobody

looks pretty similar to eternal sunshine's early AM figures - for comparison, I found the old streaming thread and that album's 1pm update was: 09. yes and? 45. bye 49. intro (end of the world) 58. don't wanna break up again 67. eternal sunshine 85. we can't be friends (wait for your love) 93. the boy is mine 94. supernatural 102. true story 109. Saturn Returns interlude

Happy to see the cure enter the YTD, hopefully stupid song will continue charting high enough to join it in a few weeks (it should be going Silver this week).

+5: the cure +4: stupid song +3: Wonderwall +2: Choosin' Texas +1: hate that i made you love me -1: Rein Me In -2: Talk To You -3: Free Your Mind -4: I Knew It, I Knew You -5: Dai Dai

Apple Music daily charts (Friday) #1 (=) - Dai Dai [#2 (=) - Man I Need] #3 (=) - Rein Me In Music, Fashion, Film tracks: #30 (NEW) - Camera #59 (NEW PEAK) - Wink Wink #81 (NEW PEAK) - SS26 #93 (NEW) - Card Declined #95 (NEW) - 2007 #115 (RE) - Rock Music #136 (NEW) - I'm Afraid #146 (NEW) - Yeah #162 (NEW) - Persona #196 (NEW) - No One Lasts Forever featuring David Cronenberg #198 (NEW) - Magic Metal Montana Other debuts: #58 (NEW) - Been By Now by Morgan Wallen

it was originally released as "i keep on thinking bout you every single day and night" as the B-side to the physical of Rock Music - the outro is a shortened version of the full track

hoping the cure dodged ACR this week but looking at weekly Spotify it'll be close

surprised they didn't replace Wink Wink with Camera or "Tracks from Music, Fashion, Film" this week

Shakira likely to end up at #2 then - Thursday's estimates might help her out but it'll probably be tight provided she hasn't collapsed on streaming today

it's also up to #5 Global for no apparent reason - bots/autoplay?

Shakira & Burna Boy down to #3 on Spotify but only down ~8k streams

Nice to see the cure seemingly set to enter next week, would love to see it make the year-end.

Go-ing the wrong way unfortunately

adding up the Music Week report sales figures so far, it's on ~220k-ish as of last week so will probably enter the YTD around the week after next - if not, it should definitely enter the week after off the back of petal's (likely) album boost

to be fair, I'd imagine the finals boost might be staggered across yesterday + today given the timing for the final - it's risen to #2 from #6 yesterday on Apple over the course of today so I'd imagine it'd be pretty steady on Spotify (at least for Monday)

+5 stupid song +4 Choosin' Texas +3 Wonderwall +2 hate that i made you love me +1 Rein Me In -1 Talk To You -2 Free Your Mind -3 I Knew It, I Knew You -4 Three Lions -5 Dai Dai

I'd guess the #31 entry for Madonna's probably a physical variant which is currently being counted seperately from the main album for some reason

+5: Billie Jean +4: the cure +3: stupid song +2: drop dead +1: Choosin' Texas -1: hate that i made you love me -2: Rein Me In -3: American Girls -4: Free Your Mind -5: I Knew It, I Knew You
