Yung Lean top 40! (Ginseng Strip 2002 should've been nearly there in 2022 but they didn't reset it grr)

The One That's Going Away (To ACR) 🤞

yeah Morrison's been #1 on YouTube ahead of Dai Dai for quite a bit of the week so that'll have helped - will agree with others that they probably felt it wasn't worth bothering with a radio edit given its explicit content

not them skipping an actually new song to play Oasis for the trillionth time (I knew he had strong iTunes and YouTube with some ok streaming elsewhere but did NOT expect this in the top 40 tbh given it was only #83(!) in the mids)

certified platinum last week! ❤️

was reminded by the recent SoundClash OHW polls that Daisy Dares You's #13 hit Number One Enemy is absent from streaming services (except an old YouTube upload of its music video)

Melatonin has been C-listed by Radio 1 this week!

did she need to put another album out to get out of her deal or something?

Third single from worst man in america (due 4/12). Out now.

Nice To Each Other'll probably end up below a million given it did less than 12k sales last week and it needs to average ~2k more than that per week to make it to 1,000,000 by year-end

I think they only post it when one of the artists they represent moves up / is added to the playlist (such as last week when Chase & Status got moved to the A-list on Radio 1)

I know I probably won't win but I'm kinda interested in seeing what everyone's sent in

no clue then - I wouldn't imagine an independent artist A&R company would be stalking randos to block but who knows 💀

it might be embargoed tbf and they're just trying to damage-limitate people posting it elsewhere but not sure they'd achieve much by just blocking certain users (also no clue how they'd trace ppl from here given they probably use different usernames elsewhere 💀)

it works for me too fwiw (tho I don't want to post the playlist ahead of time if they post it)

PLEASE! the public not picking up Tinashe's bops en-masse makes it seem like nobody wants to dance anymore...

RMI Stopped The Wedding!

according to midweek Hot 100 predictions, Taylor seems to have shipped over 120k US Patient Zero CDs midweek so I wouldn't be shocked if she ships some of her UK CDs this week too (though I'd expect her to save some for next week to maximise her run at #1)

he gave it two plays and introduced it with an interview with JADE on air yesterday!

love to see Lean doing well but I wish it was with a better song tbh - there were much better alt-rock-leaning tracks on his collab album Psykos from two years ago, wish one of those would have gone viral instead!

isn't that The The The

literally anything is better than This Is Me

don't forget "the Pixies"!

I'm at least intrigued by this given SO CLOSE TO WHAT was pretty decent and all the deluxe tracks were surprisingly rather good so hopefully she'll keep getting better!

Here's Your Perfect was a minor international hit for him back in 2021 (#106 on the Global Excl. US chart with big peaks in a bunch of South-East Asian countries - #1 in Indonesia and #2 in Philippines and Malaysia) but Babydoll's his first big hit elsewhere
