I think it's just the cultural shift from the dance being described in the song to the dance being made after the song - Toosie Slide + HOT TO GO! are the only two hits this decade I can think of which explicitly describe their dance in the songs themselves whereas Apple etc. had TikTok dances created after the fact

that doesn't mean people haven't tried - remember when Drake tried to manufacture one with Toosie Slide... 💀

honestly same reason MAID OF HONOUR was my "fave" (not saying much) of the three albums he dropped this year - not because it was good but it was entertaingly awful in places whereas Drake defaults to monotonous mediocrity (Cheetah Print is like watching a three-car pileup 💀)

I find Actually Romantic, CANCELLED!, Eldest Daughter and Wood all worse from the main TLoaS album alone 😭 (not that Cleveland!'s any good though, the album was just THAT bad)

they should just do what Billboard did and change it to a combined Rock & Alternative chart tbh - would help reduce the stagnation too given there'd be more current tracks able to chart
