I have no idea how it took them this long to realise how absurd it is to have separate sales/streaming and airplay tracking weeks, but I'm really glad they're finally changing it! Not that the difference would be noticeable, I expect, especially as I can't recall the last time a song made the Hot 100 from those first 2 days of airplay (although 'Bad Habits' made #11 bubbling under), but it's the principle of it :lol: (yay for 'Fancy Like' top 20 ^_^)

That's surprising to me too, particularly as it's his 3rd most played song on Spotify. Not sure if it's disproportionately less popular in the UK (or on non-Spotify services - it actually has less YouTube views than 'Go Flex' of all things lol), or if it's something to do with the change to separate free/paid ratios making streaming possibly count less than it did for his earlier hits. (Also surprised at them posting a #117 peak for 'White Iverson' because I didn't think they normally acknowledge below-#100 positions publicly.)

Love seeing 'Carnaval De Paris' in the Spotify chart *.* Surprised at Shout For England actually still holding some relevance! Atomic Kitten at #5 on Spotify is a strong runner-up to 'Eurovision winner #1 globally with a 4-year-old X Factor cover' as the wildest chart moment of 2021. Edit: omg, just listening to 'Come On England' and I did not know it would be a remake of 'Come On Eileen' :lol:

This is Ed Sheeran's first time in the reshuffle top 5, as a lead artist, since 'Cross Me', which was the only time he'd done so post-2015 outside of the 2 weeks where the top 10 was 9/10 Ed Sheeran songs. (As a feature, 'Own It' made it to #4, though it only barely got into positive points so 'Bad Habits' has it beat there.) 'Three Lions' has previously placed at #9 in 2010 (ahead of Shout For England at #10, while 'Wavin' Flag' was #1), and #2 in 2018 (just 2 points behind 'Solo'). How will it go this time :thinking:
