  1. Well, that's how you make a music video.
  2. Like a cannonball... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/pudsack/ScreenShot2011-12-11at225542.png
  3. Just read the songs they're singing with the judges...jesus...tonight is going to be such a bore fest. I predict the worst x factor final ever with the word Wembley said over 10000x, lots of screaming from brain dead audience members and some mind numbing home-coming videos. Please just announce Little Mix as winners so we can all be done with this.

This week's episode was great. That should get an award for best TV explosion.

I can't get enough of Palace. This guy just needs to do a whole album with Clams Casino. I kind of wish he'd given the I'm God instrumental to A$AP, think he would've done something better with it than Lil B.
  6. I think that this week's X factor was the nail in the coffin. It was so unbelievably dull and uninspired. Motown is such an awful theme and has absolutely no relevance with the current record buying public. Then the songs to get them into the final were equally yawn-tastic. I just find it hard to care about anyone...contestants and judges. I think the final is going to be such an overblown borefest with lots of shots of the audience at Wembley to show how BIG everything is. I think the x factor is dead.
  7. I forgot Beyoncé worked with them. 4 definitely could've done with a couple of Sleigh Bells tracks.

Yes. Homeland is amazing. I watched episode 1 last Sunday and had watched up to episode 9 on Wednesday. It's that compelling. First complaint though, I did think the Nazir's son story in episode 9 was the first time the show went towards 24 style silliness.
  9. Manufactured hipster or not, Lana Del Rey is still approximately 500x cooler than Clare Maguire.

I'm going to have to re watch this episode too. It was just too good.
  13. I think if he continues with this swing style though, he will end up on the x-factor dump with Leon, Joe and Matt. Marcus and Gary seem to think it's fresh and current because Bruno Mars did it one week, but that was one performance. You look at all his hit singles and none of them are in this style. Marcus' style only works for TV because it makes for a nice performance. But people voting for him aren't really people that buy chart singles and albums. Marcus needs to do something contemporary again, like Moves Like Jagger. That was a great performance and showed him as a popstar, not just the nice lad that mums and grannies are voting for.
  14. True. As soon as Tulisa mentioned that, Misha was tarred. I think the fact she is such a confident performer is what makes the bullying accusations so believable and turned the public against her. It was kind of the same with Cher Lloyd.
  15. It's a shame Misha was in the bottom 2 again. Her performances last night were both amazing (although Girls Just Wanna Have Fun totally should've been mashed up with Run The World). I think Misha's trouble is she's a ready made popstar, and X factor voters don't want that; they want someone who's been on "the journey".
  16. I actually thought Janet doing Under The Bridge was pretty good... probably the only one though. MmmBop was so cringetastic though and Gary nailed it on the head about why it was so bad for her. She would've been much better doing something like Blame It On The Weatherman for guilty pleasures. They're styling her on Ellie and Florence, so why don't they just give her something like Starry Eyed or Dog Days to do so we can at least get an idea of what she might sound like as a recording artist. Her doing stuff like MmmBop and the Jackson 5 isn't helping anybody.
  17. Marcus for bottom 2.

This is out on 9th December in the UK. I've just downloaded it, but I really want to see it at the cinema because it might be like Melancholia and have some stunning sequences.

The reset is boring because: 1) If they don't remember what things were like before the reset, that's basically 3 seasons worth of character and plot development thrown out of the window. 2) If they do remember, then that basically all the stuff in season 4 so far is moot. Really not interested in Fringe at the moment. Watching almost seems like a chore...like I have to because I have committed to it. I hope it picks up soon.

Yeah, Cougar Town season 1 and 2 Thanksgiving episodes are both amazing. This being good made me miss Cougar Town.
  21. Album not released in Feb anymore... :( Oh well, hope it means she's writing some awesome songs in the same vein as Starring Role. It was seriously amazing live: 0YIniIRqJCQ
  22. Bah. Stunning video. Planets are really in at the moment.

Yeah, everything was good this week. Yakult has to be my favourite thing so far. "Is that hebrew?" "No, she's named after my favourite probiotic drink."
  24. Have you seen the All About Tonight video?
  25. Hopefully the production on this will be better than Pink Friday. I just find it really naff and lets down most of the songs. Hopefully, Roman Reloaded will more along the lines of her verse on Monster.
