  1. Then get on iTunes and download the three new tracks. You don't have to buy the album again if you've already got it.
  2. Retract this statement. The album is four good songs; Shake It Out, Spectrum, No Light No Light and maybe Strangeness and Charm. The rest is absolute filler.

I can't get into this album. Somebody tell me which song I need to listen to that is going to make me see the light.
  4. This album is good so far, Although I've not really listened to it properly because I can't get passed Spectrum. Every time I put another song on, I just want to hear Spectrum again.

God, they look terrible in that video. Neither of them can pull off being hipsters...well, they never could really, but at least with their first album they had decent songs. Hands was good but after it flopped they seem to have gone as far from sleek electro pop as possible and come out in punk rap dreadfulness.
  6. I might check out the most recent episodes then. I'd quite like a new non-comedy to watch. My favourite new shows this year have been Suburgatory and New Girl. I tried Ringer but only got half way through the first episode... I've gone back to watching Buffy instead.
  7. Her X factor performance was great and I'm glad she did it acoustic. For me, it redeemed herself after her terrible vocals last year and showed the side of her that seems to have got lost in all the glitz and pink hair.
  8. Is there a "mythology" that kicks in then? I watched the first episode and thought it was well acted and well produced, but the episode's plot was so flimsy and the "crime" so easily solved that I haven't bothered watching any more. I find with these sci-fi and fantasy shows that try and do the whole "monster-the-week" thing can get really tedious because there's always some made up bit of science and technology that can solve the problem. Fringe gets away with it most of the time because they've created a strong mythology that most of the individual episodes become part of, but there's often duff weeks (boy psychically attached to a fungus). The thing that keeps you watching is knowing there's an over arching story that has some sort of pay off.
  9. Initiation is crazy. I can't wait for Echoes of Silence, but I'm still discovering things on House of Balloons even though I've had it since June. This guy is too consistent.

This will probably do very well on Radio 2. It's a shame though, I wanted Sweet Dreams / Show Me Love Rebecca Ferguson, not distilled Duffy.
  11. And don't most re releases come about because an album hasn't been a success? Anyway, I like Try With Me and I'm looking forward to some new songs. I'm hoping they're going to be more urban leaning because I miss that side of Nicole...I still yearn for a HQ version of Physical.

I'd quite like Lana Del Rey, Katy Perry and Sean Paul to sneak into the top 10. Jar of Hearts needs to die already. At first I thought it was a nice piano ballad, but it soon became evident that it is an absolute naff fest destined to be reenacted for years to come on singing competitions.

This needs to be doing better. I was looking forward to Sean Paul being relevant again.
  14. It's also number 1 on the album chart. It's only £1.79 for four songs, although 2 are remixes.
  15. LOLZ. But true dat. She was good.
  16. The Risk were the best groups.
  17. Misha's look reminded me of Bishi: http://musicglue-magpies-nest.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/bishi.jpg
  18. Yeah, if I heard that in a club I would be fooking loving it. Wanting dancehall remix now of RITD now.
  19. Misha shits on everything so far from a great height.
  20. VOM. Seriously, why does no one else realise that he's a massive twat?

This was amazing. Couldn't stop thinking about it after watching it. The ending just blew my mind...the moments of really stylised beauty nestled in with the Dogme 95 style hand held camera work were so effective.
  22. I love it. I miss songs with big beats like this.
  23. I do sometimes think some sort of recurrent rule would be useful. It would at least help weed out songs that just keep cropping up because someone performs them on x factor.
  24. The Captain Cuts remix on the EP is lovely.
