Shakira // Sale El Sol (The Sun Comes Out)
It's actually 5 English songs: Loca Rabiosa Addicted To You Waka Waka Islands http://www.sonymusic.de/Shakira/Sale-El-Sol/P/2428016/D/0 But yeah, not many. I'm wondering if Addicted To You will be a second single for non Latin countries. Rabiosa might be, but it's another El Cata song and is probably similar to Loca.

She Wolf - The ALBUM
I think there's a couple of tracks where you can hear the record label going "record the record this," mainly Gypsy and Long Time. And because the album is only really 9 original songs, that means that there's only 7 songs "Shakira" songs on there, and when her albums are usually 11 brilliant songs, She Wolf didn't quite hit her usual standard. Compared to most other female pop artists though, 7 brilliant tracks on an album is pretty good going.

Full English version, decent quality recording: o2al-MhMoVg I preferred the LQ to be honest

'Teenage Dream' • Second Album Discussion
Exactly. Other than California Gurls, Teenage Dream and TGIF, the rest of the album is BORING. The melodies are forgetable and the lyrics are cliché after cliché. And the production on this sounds like she didn't know whether to be Ke$ha or Kelly Clarkson, and has fallen into some lame-o sound inbetween where the guitars sound like they're being played on a keyboard.

Loca (feat. Dizzee Rascal)
As someone who dislikes Dizzee - I actually quite like the sound of his rap on this - it flows pretty well. I cannot get this out of my head; "loca loca loca" is so catchy, even from that LQ rip.

Peacock is awful. Calling a penis a peacock is hardly subtle inuendo. It's like something a child would find funny.

Loca (feat. Dizzee Rascal)
First single from Sale El Sol This is an mp3 made of people's recording from the video shoot: http://www.sendspace.com/file/07zzit Really LQ but you get the idea. Pics from the vid: http://www3.pictures.zimbio.com/bg/Shakira%20Shakira%20Films%20Music%20Video%203%20SmDnQCIxuuLl.jpg http://www4.pictures.zimbio.com/bg/Shakira%20Shakira%20Films%20Music%20Video%203%20ZmGCSyxPNH-l.jpg http://a.imageshack.us/img94/7553/normal100819p2shakirabg.jpg http://i35.tinypic.com/ivfpxw.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a264/tumegustas/big-pictures_t_shakira-19081004.jpg

Ke$ha - 'Take It Off'
The video is incredible. From thinking she was a bag of shite, I now think she is amazing.

Alexandra Burke 'Start Without You' [1st/next single]
I love how shocking everything about this song and video is.

'Teenage Dream' • Second Album Discussion
This album is terrible. I was looking forward to it after California Gurls as well. My fave is TGIF. Everything else sounds so half baked and like something a child would put together. Firework would be ok if her vocals weren't so ghastly.

Marina and the Diamonds - Shampain
Horrible choice for a single. It's the worst song on the album. It tries too hard to be POP. It's like the ingredients are there, but they haven't been mixed properly. Numb should be a single. No, it's not obvious single material, but it's the best song on the album and already had a little run on iTunes.

It's brilliant. Like a minging sweater and balti king thrown into a blender.

The "Lost" ending - spoilers warning
The New Man In Charge leaked the other day. It's pretty good - spells a few things out and also answers a few things that weren't answered in the show. Personally, I loved the end of Lost; I just don't see any other way it could've ended. Yeah, it was flawed, but it was never going to be perfect. The only thing I didn't like about this series was how a few of the character arcs that felt so important in other series came to a bit of a damp end. For instance, Charles Widmore and Ben. Widmore's death was so lame and insignificant, especially when you look back to series 4 and that awesome scene in Widmore's penthouse.

N.E.R.D. - 'Nothing'
When's this out now? Seeing Sounds is a good album but I'm looking forward to this a lot more. Hot N Fun is such a good lead single.

Shakira - Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) World Cup single
Another week in the top 40. I think it's chart run is pretty great considering this has had zero airplay. The only time I've seen it on TV is on the top 40 countdowns, and even then they play that silly remix version.

Mi Gordita (feat Calle 13)
Here it is from RIR Madrid - the best performance so far. nAziENm7oqM I think this will be the first single from Sale El Sol.
-
Alesha Dixon - Drummer Boy
This is halfway to being decent, but as soon as the synth brass section comes it, it just veers into a ditch of $h!tness. She shoulda just done her "rapping" misteeq style over the beat, that woulda been 100% better.

M.I.A. - '/\/\ /\ Y /\' | 05-07-10
After just playing Tell Me Why solidly for 4 weeks I've relistened to the rest of the album, and I'm enjoying it more now. I think the songs where she's tried to sounds like her last albums, Teqkilla and Steppin Up, are the poorest ones. The more laidback stuff is actually really good. Loving Believer at the moment.

N*E*R*D ft.Nelly Furtado 'Hot 'n' Fun'
F6ZfA5QZDHY The video is amazing. The song is just so brilliant as well...love the bass and then Nelly's chorus is great too. Can't get enough of this song at the moment. Also, anyone know where I can get a knitted waistcoat like Pharrell? He is ubercool.

Sky Ferreria - One
I love this song. I reckon it'll scrape top 10 but probably stick around for a while.

Taylor Swift // 'Speak Now'
Mine is so boring. Not bad. Just boring.
