Are You Satisfied is such a grower. At first I was like "meh" but now I think it's brilliant. The songs that I don't really like are Shampaign and The Outsider. It's like Marina trying to be POP whereas on the other songs her sound (however you want to categorise it) seems much more natural.

The reason I don't like this is because it sounds like someone's idea of what an "alternative female" should sound like, but in 2004. Oh, and Chipmunk. What a tool.

I was looking forward to these few months as a period unaffected by Simon Cowell after the complete saturation of X Factor but alas...I guess we just can't escape.

It was funny when people we were watching it for free on TV but the prospect of people buying this makes me physically sick.

Oh no, what's happened to Girls? The version with the Harpsichord-like instrument on the chorus was so much better. I'm glad the album version of Hollywood has the "air hostesses" bit in it...I love that verse so much and always miss it in the single version. Hermit the Frog sounds really good...I was never bowled over by the demo but now I'm really drawn to it after listening to that snippet. The final version of Numb sounds pretty amazing as well. All the new songs sound pretty good as well. The only one that sounds a bit meh is Rootless, but I'm not going to judge it from 30 seconds.

Good song, good video. It's nothing amazing but it'll do the job and get the song some TV plays.

I really hope it's true. The thing is, Sony have officially confirmed that Gypsy is the next UK single which means Men In This Town could be the next US single but that's so stupid because Men In This Town is such a Euro single. Gypsy is just going to be a big flop - I don't get why they are so determined to release it when every review and poll has highlighted Men In This Town as people's favourite song from the album.
