Woo! Portugal and UK - hopefully I'll get to see her on TV here! I think she's gonna promote this song heavy in Europe, especially in the UK. The way her people have been previewing the song to big sites like Popjustice and Digital Spy makes me think they're gonna go all out for this one.

The video looks like it could be great! I don't wanna get my hopes up though....

She kind of has a point but La Roux is starting to annoy me a bit now. She's coming across as some grumpy teenager whinging about $h!t that we already know. We know R&B generally has pretty crappy lyrics but we enjoy because it's fun and you can get your groove on to it in a club. So get over it.

I think the video should be out around mid july, the same time that She Wolf is released to radio and also the same time it is released to iTunes. I've read lots of different dates and I'm not sure how they all coincide yet.

I don't think it'll make top 40. Something like 44 on downloads.

What have they done to Quicksand? The original version I have from the Kitsuné EP is great but they've somehow managed to make her voice even shriller on the new version. I'm quite liking this album overall though. It doesn't have the same pure pop goodness that Little Boots - Hands has though.

I'm glad everyone's loving this. I seriously don't get it though. It doesn't usually take this long for a Shakira song to grow on me but I'm not even listening to it over and over again because I'm just not fussed about it at all. I'm hoping the English versions gonna get me - although language is never usually an issue for me.

They should release Cover My Eyes to change things up a bit.

The vocodery bit at the bridge is the best part of the song. I wish it could be like that all the way through.

Lovely. The chorus is just impeccable.

Yeah, I know. It's just that some songs, even in LQ, you can hear they're great, but this sounds awful. I think the HQ will be great because we've already had better quality clips so I'm keeping my hopes up. I think this will be a big hit in the UK. It's wacky in Shakira way, but has none of the things that usually turn people off Shakira songs; trumpets, goat noises, Wyclef.

Maybe now it has a video they will give it a push with some promo and it might get picked up. I know Radio 1 has already played I Am Not A Robot. I surprised Radio 2 haven't jumped on it though - it's right up their alley.
