  1. Top 10. It's good, but like the David Guetta song, I find the production really cheesy and dated. The video's class though and I think that's what'll sell the song.

  3. A bit standard but not bad. The first half sounds a bit like Upgrade U and the second half is a bit crazy.
  4. Me too...Somehow it has racked up over 90 plays on my iTunes...despite the backlash I'm still enjoying her music.

On the point that this is chavvy - What do you hear when you are on the top deck of a bus in Preston blasting out from some girl's nokia who has her hair slicked back with two ringlets at the front? Shit like this. On my other point - people are making these outlandish comments that the UK doesn't understand this kind of music. What is there to understand?? That pizzicato strings and 90s dance beats aren't cheesy and tacky as fuck?

This is like something JLo would've done when she thought she was from the block.
  8. The video works really well I think. Definately Keri's best video so far. I'd love to see something really epic for Alienated, though.
  9. That's good news. From my limited knowledge of this album I think it's the best choice. The performance on Later was much better than the New In Town performance, although her chicken arms kinda spoiled it a little...

Seriously, I don't get what everyone is raving about. Firstly, the production is really cheesy. It sounds so 80s and not in throwback La Roux way, more in a "I was created using the cheapest MIDI drum set possible" way. Secondly, the lyrics are ridiculous. I'm thinking that the hook of all Ryan Tedder songs from now on is just going to be the singer repeating a random word over and over. And then there's the "better go and get yer armour on" bit...jesus. I mean, I don't dislike this and it's pretty inoffensive, but people are talking about it like it's the second coming. I wish people would just see it as the cheap and tacky throwaway pop that it is.

And this isn't chavvy? What is there to understand??? If this is European music then it's shit.
  12. Considering how inaccurate that description is I have high hopes for this album. I feel like I am being inundated with quirky female singer songwriters and I'm loving it! It's been a while since I've had so many tracks that I want to play over and over again.
  13. Remedy is great...I can't wait to listen to it in HQ on the album.
  14. And I think she thinks she's better than Eurovision. She reckons she's all hip and trendy giving interviews to all the Bairro Alto magazines.
  15. Probably. Maybe they should ask Ana Free to do it next year  I really like Flor-de-Lis' song this year though. I think if it was in Spanish it would've been a big hit in south America, it's very Julieta Venegas
  16. Seriously. Amazing song, amazing video.

Juliet's "death" was definately the most harrowing part of The Incident. She's one of my favourite characters, mainly because of the way she plays off Jack and Sawyer.

I hope it's true that they're releasing Sweet Dreams in Europe. Sweet Dreams and Radio are the only singles left off this album.

That was the most disappointing finale of Lost. It was pretty entertaining but there absolutely no sense of conclusion to any of the strands and everything felt so disjointed. For me it didn't click. The episode was called "The Incident" so our focus should've really been on the dharma folk, especially as that has been this season's main arc. But instead we get a Jacob flashback, which was cool, but just didn't seem to fit with anything we've seen all season. IMO, the opening scene of this episode should've been the opening of season 6. The finale needed some sort of resolution, like a Jin/Sun reunion. I don't know, while I like a cliffhanger, I feel like way too much is left hanging.
  20. Glad you like it ;) And that is being picky :P Not even Annie's official cover has the accento!
  21. Great catchy melody, I just don't get why he ruined it with that cheesy piano. I wish it was produced more like Love Don't Let Me Go.
  22. Sorry, no modesty, but I love my cover this week :heehee: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/pudsack/annie.png
  23. I watched the video for New In Town again and it just baffled me even more than the first time I saw it. If the song is all about her knowing where to go out, why is set under a bridge in America? Like I said in another post, should've been set in Blackpool. I read this article which is semi interesting: It is funny how she's somehow managed to turn herself from the most hyped into the most disliked. I don't agree that for a first album she had to be accesible though. She could've got big sales with an avant garde album IMO, and then she would've had sales under her belt and her credibility in tact. New In Town is forgiveable because it's pretty good pop music, but the video is what has destroyed her credibility. It undermines everything she's done before.

Repost: d8ipRK5FyC0 It's Wyclef feat. Shakira - The Border, so not a single from Shakira's new album but it could possibly be on Wyclef's new album. It was produced by Timbaland.
  25. Sounds like it's gonna be better than Boom Boom Pow. It's got me more excited for the album now.
