Skylar Grey 'Invisible' & 'Invincible'
I like it but I just don't see it being a hit. I hope I'm proven wrong though.

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
Blue Velvet is a good cover and works fine as a single for the H&M advert... I agree that it doesn't really fit in on the EP though. Yayo is a strange one because this is the third version (I think) to appear and while the new reverby production is nice, it still doesn't really fit with the rest of songs. It's such a gorgeous song though and the melody is very subtle but still has those nice little hooks. I guess that's why it was included on the EP, to finally give it an official release rather than just existing on deleted albums and leaked demos. I do think if they were produced by Emile Haynie or Rick Knowles, then Damn You, Never Let Me Go or Paradise would be better suited to the EP than Yayo and Blue Velvet though.

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
Body Electric, American and Cola are immense. The rest are pretty amazing too, but those three are pretty much on repeat at the moment.

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
Got tickets for Manchester and Amsterdam. I can't believe they sold out so quick. I tried to get some for Paris instead of Amsterdam but they went so fast.

James Bond Themes - the ultimate song
The only one of these I don't really like is the Chris Cornell one. If I had to rank them though it would be like this: 1. World is Not Enough 2. Tomorrow Never Dies 3. Die Another Day 4. Skyfall 5. Goldeneye 6. Another Way to Die

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
Easily the best song on the album. If anyone likes the National Anthem demo, then you will like this: http://vimeo.com/43169307

Radio 1's Live Lounge 2012
I would've liked to have seen Marina and the Diamonds cover of Boyfriend on there and Lana del Rey's cover of Goodbye Kiss.

Stooshe - Waterfalls
Don't really see the point of this. They should've released the Wind Up Yuh Waist song; that's the best thing I've seen them do.

Homeland
Brilliant first episode. That gif sums it up perfectly.

Rihanna - 'Diamonds'
I quite like this, but what I like most isn't the song; it's the fact that Rihanna always manages to come out with something that no one's expecting. I mean, she had an enormous hit with WFL and then the only other big single from that same album was another dance song, yet she comes back with some big ballad. The only thing I don't really like is the production...I just think parts of it sound really cheap and dated. I would love it if this was produced like something from Born To Die. It kind of reminds me of Summertime Sadness and I think a production like that would suit this song.

Love the song. Like the video. Just wish it were a little less busy because it looked like there were some quite nice shots in there.

My favourites are: Waiting For The Night High Life Bucket List And Circles is quickly growing. And Big Hoops and Parking Lot remain brilliant.

I love Bucket List already. Can't wait to listen to the rest.

X Factor 2012
Is there something wrong with my TV cuz that was terrible. Standing ovation? What?

No Doubt - Push and Shove
I was interested until Gravity but that song lost me... Sparkle almost hooked me again but not quite. This album sounds way too slick. The majority of it sounds like a continuation of the second half of LAMB: Serious, Danger Zone, The Real Thing and Crash. There's no crazy beats or massive bass lines - just programmed beats, synths and a few guitar twangs. It feels like it's lacking energy. That said, I do have time for slick pop/rock songs and I reckon One More Summer is going to be pretty great, like an Early Winter sequel. However, when the first two singles are as brilliant as Settle Down and Push and Shove, the clips do leave a lot to be desired.

God that's good.

The xx 'Coexist' ıı September 10 2012
I think Angels is great but the rest of the album is just too wishy washy. Obviously, that was kind of their "thing" but their first album still had some very strong melodies and instrumentation like on Crystalised and Islands. The only song that sticks out to me so far is Reunion...and only really because of the steel pans. I think Chained could grow on me because the beat is pretty good at the end.

Anything Could Happen | 1st single
I think it's alright...the only thing I don't really like is how the synths take over towards the end. I guess it's meant to be euphoric or something...but like someone said, the song is too plodding.

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
There's plenty of uptempo Lana tracks out there, you just have to look. Summer of Sam, She's Not Me, Kinda Outta Luck and You Can Be The Boss are all pretty good. There's also Paris, Puppy Love and Ooh Baby, but they're a bit jolly for me.

Snoop Lion - La La La
I thought the La roux Colourless Artibella was better than this: 3qbv_Ra4C_s The new name is ridiculous but I'm actually thinking this reggae album could be awesome.

Nelly Furtado · The Spirit Indestructible · 10-09-12
I don't think the studio version has leaked. The one on youtube was just a rip of the sessions performance. I am obsessed with it at the moment though. I don't think it will be a hit but it's still amazing.

Parks and Recreation
Season 1 is my favourite season of Parks and Rec! The first 4 episodes are flawless. I think Lesley eating that flower and the dog poo fight are two of the funniest moments for me. The boys club is just a brilliant episode from start to finish as well.

Tulisa / Live It Up (feat. Tyga)
Why would you ever want to draw attention to the lyrics of this song? They're terrible! And isn't the chorus just a slowed down version of Kat Deluna - Run The Show?

Bat for Lashes 'The Haunted Man' ıı October 16 2012
Same. I love me a female piano ballad and this is good, but it seems lacking in melody somewhere. Maybe it's a grower and eventually it will be up there with Daniel.

No Doubt - Settle Down
I bought this from their website this morning and have been listening to it all day. It's such a great song and the production is fantastic. Is this a major lazer song?
