I really like How To Be A Heartbreaker. It's basically Domino but with a decent melody and without the horrific Jessie J.

I'm thinking this isn't going to be as pedestrian as people are assuming. The new clip makes it sound likes it's got kuduro elements in...which makes sense with the video being filmed in Lisbon.

It's the same reaction every time she releases something new. Everyone was appalled when she released a reggaeton song. Then everyone was appalled that she used a rapper on Hips Don't Lie. Then everyone was appalled she went all slutty for She Wolf.

As much as Power and Control has grown on me, it is a crazy single choice. The "women and men we are the same" is a nice hook but it's not enough for it to be a single.

Same... It puts me in mind of a bad Biology. I just don't think this is the sound they should've been going with.

S08E01...not very good. Weeds always takes a couple of episodes to hit its stride though. I think Doug is easily the best character now.

I love Give it up to me! But then, I love timbaland ad lil Wayne. I was completely on board with shakira going with a more urban leaning sound because it can encompass so many interesting sounds and beats. However, the current dance music just creates pretty much identical songs.

While I didn't want her to go down the same route as everyone else at the moment, I actually think this sounds pretty good. The lyrics seem like they have the potential to not just be about filling up drinks and getting on the floor and I think her voice sounds good. I'm holding out hope for it. I still think Get It Started is terrible though. That's probably the first Shakira song that I have zero interest in.

Lana and ASAP Rocky playing a mixed race Kennedys is just the best thing ever. So many amazing videos this year. This is up there with Bad Girls.

Yeah, Sirens is pretty good. My favourite is Aviation. I'm also surprised no ones mentioned the newly leaked tracks; Paris, Puppy Love, Never Let Me Go and Children of the Bad Revolution. Never Let Me Go is especially beautiful. Saw at Hackney yesterday as well and that last note of Video Games just killed it. I'd love to see her in a decent venue now.

When the "what you gon do when I appear" bit dropped I almost went through the roof. It was absolutely insane. Definitely one of the best of Hackney. It was a short set though, she only did songs that are already out as far as I could tell.

Pitbull feat. Shakira - Get It Started OS887NoBAOI I'm not a fan. It's just so nondescript. I'm hoping this is just her playing the game and that her actual album will be much more interesting.

I saw Jessie live a few weeks ago and she was just great. I'm really looking forward to this album. Wildest Moments is also great, it's got a bit of a Ryan Tedder vibe but with added "class" (that seems to be the word everyone's using to describe her).

BAH! Just got back from Manchester and the show was incredible. It was so intense and epic, not a single dull point. I was surprised at the amount of solo stuff...definitely not a complaint though... I just went off when Kanye did Can't Tell Me Nothing.

What is that Hold The Line sample/cover on Cheryl's EP?? I'm annoyed because I'm not finding it as blasphemous as I probably should...

I hope neither Victoria or Charlotte are dead; they're both great characters! Although if they're both alive it's going to look like a bit of a cop out. I thought this was one of the best season finales in a while...it was just the right amount of things tied up and new twists, and the right amount of cliffhangers to make sure you're back next season.

Blackwater was some of the best TV ever. The wildfire was amazing and I was so happy they got the green flames in! And jeez...Charles Dance is just brilliant as Tywin. I mean, one line and he almost stole the episode! Really don't know how they're going to fit everything into the last episode. There's way too much; Jon with the wildlings, Dany in the house of the undying, Theon in Winterfell and then whatever happens in Kings Landing. This season has been good, but I think episodes 7 and 8 were really weak. I'm guessing they're saving things so they have an action packed last episode compared to last season, when episode 10 was a bit of a comedown after Ned's death. I just don't think they needed to do that though, there is enough going on with Jon and Theon to fulfill the action quota. I would've cut Jaime's ridiculously long scene in the cell and cut the Robb and Dr Quinn scene and got Dany to the house of the undying in episode 8. Then, in episode 10 her scene with Arstan and Belwas would be a nice place to leave things.

It's pretty amazing. I think I prefer Iron, the video and the song, but this is still...WOW The Woodkid remix of Born To Die is one of the best remixes this year as well.

And surprisingly, my least favourite part of A Clash of Kings is Theon's storyline, however in the TV programme it's possibly my favourite. I think the most powerful scenes have been in Winterfell this year, mainly thinking of Rodrik's beheading.

Hmmmm...I'm finding this season's deviations from the book harder and harder to swallow. In season 1 the bits that weren't in the book weren't really plot deviations, more just filling out characters. However, this year, they seem to be taking quite a few liberties with the plot. I don't mind the streamlining, like merging Renly's death and the castellan of Storm's End, but I don't like what they've done with Dany's story especially. Granted, she doesn't have much to do in the book, but if they had stuck to the source material we could've had some nice scenes with her and Jorah (like when he tells her about the woman he was in love with) as she comes to terms with the power she has been given. Instead, she's just going round like a spoiled brat ranting about "fire and blood" and "taking what is mine." Season 3 spoiler:

I have had to re-watch the sex talk bit about 53 times now. I think Amy dry heaving when the veep says "I'm going to eat him up" is the best thing on TV.
