It's pretty amazing. I think I prefer Iron, the video and the song, but this is still...WOW The Woodkid remix of Born To Die is one of the best remixes this year as well.

And surprisingly, my least favourite part of A Clash of Kings is Theon's storyline, however in the TV programme it's possibly my favourite. I think the most powerful scenes have been in Winterfell this year, mainly thinking of Rodrik's beheading.

Hmmmm...I'm finding this season's deviations from the book harder and harder to swallow. In season 1 the bits that weren't in the book weren't really plot deviations, more just filling out characters. However, this year, they seem to be taking quite a few liberties with the plot. I don't mind the streamlining, like merging Renly's death and the castellan of Storm's End, but I don't like what they've done with Dany's story especially. Granted, she doesn't have much to do in the book, but if they had stuck to the source material we could've had some nice scenes with her and Jorah (like when he tells her about the woman he was in love with) as she comes to terms with the power she has been given. Instead, she's just going round like a spoiled brat ranting about "fire and blood" and "taking what is mine." Season 3 spoiler:

It's funny because before Big Hoops came out it felt like there was a lot of hype for it but the way it just appeared on iTunes before it was sent to radio was such an anti climax and then things just started to fall apart from there. I think there are a lot of people behind this song because it recalls the time of those great hip hop / rnb / pop songs of 2006 - SOS, Maneater, Hips Don't Lie, Sexy Back, Deja Vu. I thought there'd be enough people who wanted a respite from the David Guetta/Calvin Harris/RedOne/LMFAO indenti-dance that plagues the charts at the moment. I'm just worried that the delay means some rush sessions with Dr Luke or someone when what the best thing about Big Hoops is is that it doesn't like current LOLpop.

I have had to re-watch the sex talk bit about 53 times now. I think Amy dry heaving when the veep says "I'm going to eat him up" is the best thing on TV.

I'm glad Nelly has moved up. I feel like her label have already given up on this song by delaying the album, so I hope Big Hoops can prove them wrong and still be a hit.

I thought they had gone the same way as CSS, but I guess Baile Funk has more life in it than Nu Rave ( :puke2: ) Kilo is pretty good. Diplo can do no wrong really when he's working with acts like this.

This is great. And it's written by Charlie XCX who is equally amazing.

I saw her live last week and she was great. 110% is an amazing tune but I doubt it will be massive.

She's also been working with Ester Dean and Billboard for the new album. I'm usually very open to Shakira working with current producers compared to other fans (who usually just want her to do DELL part 2), but I admit, I'm a little worried about some of the people she's working with this time. LMFAO are really the epitome of what's wrong with music today. I will reserve judgement though and hope she can come up with something fresh. I've got a feeling she's going to go down a moombahton route with this album which would be interesting. There's also rumours she's working with Skrillex. They're both in Barcelona at the moment. MntbN1DdEP0 The video for Addicted to You, the latest single from Sale El Sol, just came out today so I thought it would be a good opportunity to get a Shakira thread going on Buzzjack again! I'm guessing this is just to tide things over until her new album comes out later this year. She's been in the studio with Sia, Afrojack, LMFAO and Akon. She's also got a song on Pitbull's new album called Get It Started, which is scheduled to be the second single. Apparently, her new management, Roc Nation, are trying to time things just right in the run up to this new album. This is good news because Shakira's always been known to have pretty terrible promotional strategies, with big waits for performances, video releases and album releases.

My first impression is that the production really lets down a lot of this album. There's something a little cheap and nasty about most songs and it's such a shame because there's some amazing songs underneath it all. I don't care that she's gone all electro-pop on this album, but it only works when she goes for that sound fully like on Primadonna, Radioactive and Lies. But on other songs like Bubblegum Bitch, Living Dead and Power & Control they just sound like Family Jewels songs but with a synth instead of a piano. Starring Role is an amazing song, but there is something quite dated about it... it always reminds me of Natasha Bedingfield - Angel. My favourite songs so far (in no particular order): Primadonna Teen Idle (mainly because it is in the same vein as Numb and The Family Jewels) Valley Of The Dolls (although this could do with a slick Lana Del Rey type production) Lies Starring Role Fear And Loathing

That interview has got me even more jimmied up for this album. I really didn't realise how much I missed Nelly. A reggae song, a song with Passion Pit, a track with Nas on... I just can't wait now!!

I heard it will be on iTunes 17th April. Dunno how true that is. I think it's Darkchild. Run The World is brilliant and this has the potential to be brilliant too. If Big Hoops is as brrap as the clip implies, and it turns out to be a hit, I hope it marks the end of the electro dance era.

It sounds awesome... BAH! This has got me so excited!! There's so much I love about that clip...the beat is massive...the lyrics ridiculous...the lack of anything like a Calvin Harris chordal synth...it just makes me so happy.
