Apparently this album leaked already and it's not due out for another month.
  2. Album is good although not as instant as I expected. Carmen, Without You and Summertime Sadness are sticking out at the moment. Going to stick to the demo of National Anthem I think. This Is What Makes Us Girls might grow, but I think I prefer the more upbeat demo.
  3. The chorus is a mixture of Tragedy and Beautiful Stranger to me.
  4. The chorus has been lobotomised. I'm going to stick to the demo...just like with Marina and Girls.

Yeah, this episode was great. Ridiculous. But great. I mean kissing in the pouring rain and bitchy face offs whilst the powers out is ridiculous. I love how camp this show is.
  6. AHHHHHHH! Beats! Good to dance to...just hope there's some more melodic stuff on the album to sing to.
  7. I want to kill the one with the blonde quiff. I don't think I could hate a southern accent more.

    Love this. FGEYTOyP-WQ&ob=av2e
  9. Blue Jeans is unwatchable. She should've performed it like this: F_W5EGMHdBE I don't think the full band helped with the TV nerves.
  10. The billboard article is out. It's a good read and addresses (while not really answering) the whole "authenticity debate. http://www.billboard.com/#/features/lana-d...52.story?page=1

The Kiss The Stars video is so Rachel Stevens.
  12. I don't think Thursday and Echoes are dull...I think they're just lacking a little bit on the hooky melodies that made House of Balloons so good. I'm not normally a fan of those meandering RnB numbers that go on forever with no hook and not much discernible melody (which is why I think 1+1 is the worst song on 4), but I can happily listen to everything on House of Balloons. I think you have to dig a little harder for something to latch onto on Thursday and Echoes, and it's not necessarily something in the melody, but something in the production, but they're both still pretty good. I'd rank them; House of Balloons > Echoes of Silence > Thursday I only really listen to The Birds, Life of the Party and Rolling Stone on Thursday.
  13. Bill Lawrence is brilliant to follow on twitter through the whole Work It / Cougar Town saga.

Great episode this week after the little Christmas break, a lot better than episode 10. I'm also glad that (it looks like) Tyler is out of the show now, I was starting to lose track of who was black mailing who for what and what everyone knew.
  15. Swim Good is a proper tune. Novacane, There Will Be Tears and American Wedding are all great as well. He also wrote my favourite song off 4; I Miss You. That song is stunning.

Same. I tuned into the advert about halfway through and saw lots of women singing "Always...always!" and just assumed it was for pads. It's so bizarre. Couldn't work out whether it was a micky take.
  17. Does this even have a chorus? It's a mess... and too slow to be a good mess.
  18. I think Stars is amazing. Although it wasn't really a new track as she had been performing it when she was touring Loose.
  19. Finally. Although I've grown to love Diddy's verses now. Y620ru_pvk0
  20. Reminds me of Drinking in LA. Love it.

The ending was so frustrating but so brilliant. I feel like I've been on an emotional rollercoaster.
  22. I agree. Although I think I like the Birds Pt1 more than anything on Echoes of Silence. EoS has some really interesting production...I think that's why I love Same Old Song so much.
  23. Faves so far: XO Montreal Same Old Song Initiation Man, this is so good. Dirty Diana is ridiculous. Also hearing a bit of MJ on Montreal as well...something about the melody.

It was even cringier when it was "who's in your bed? Mohombi."
  25. There's a Clams Casino and a Woodkid remix on the single. Excited!
