Ultimate Music Video - Rate
05 | If This is Love 10 | Up (their most iconic video and despite looking cheap as chips I still love watching the video, it does every the Gentleman video wished it could) 07 | Issues 08 | Just Can't Get Enough 09 | Work (I love this video, Vanessa looks amazing) 07 | Forever is Over 10 | Ego (probably their 2nd best video. The last shot is my favourite video moment by them tbh) 08 | Missing You 08 | Higher 10 | Notorious (when they strip in the elevator and Una sings "boy beware..." just yes) 11 | All Fired Up (they all just look flawless in the video, they're dancing, their solo shots are great and I think the song and video fit really well) 04 | My Heart Takes Over (it's nice but there's not much too it zzzz) -1 | 30 Days ( I think I've watched this video five times in my life and been bored each time) 06 | What About Us (Daisy Dukes & Dance Routine ...apart from that it's pretty meh although I did used to try and replicate the dance routine everytime it was on tv lmfao) 03 | Gentleman (as tacky as it is it's f***ing hilarious to watch sometimes) 07 | Disco Love (wish they had went through the eras/history of girl bands and not decades, would have made for a much more intresting video) 08 | Not Giving Up (I remember being so excited for this video! not their best but Mollie's solo shots are gorgeous) 06 | What Are You Waiting For (Una's hair flip is the only important thing apart from that the video is pretty boring, a Greek version of the What About Us video)

Marina and the Diamonds 'Froot'
definitely a grower, it's taken me a while and I've only just began to sort of like it now. I hope it grows on me more

Sats iTunes Watch Part 7
I don't see why they don't spend 6 months releasing the greatest hits in other countries with actual promotion and single re-releases. Germany and France are quite good European markets and South American fans seems to go crazy over nothing so why not try there? Why not Australia and New Zealand? If anyone told me a year ago that Paloma Faith would have a no.1 single in across the world in AUS I would have laughed in their face. Ella Henderson has made it big too there with Ghost, okay none of them have the same voice as Ella but together they have a great likeability about them? Little Mix seem to do well over there and G.R.L also had a hit in AUS with Ugly Heart so it's not like AUS/NZ are anti-girl group. In fact they seem to love their pop and I wish they pushed What About Us a bit more over there. Heck once Una has popped out child no. 7 (I know she's only had 1 but the amount of time she spends mentioning and talking about Aoife feels like forever and a day) why don't they try america again and even Canada? and actually go to small states, do radio shows, play small venues and build their way up? we'rent they listed to support Justin Beiber on his American leg of a previous tour at some point. Surely they can get a good support spot again considering the amount of their UK top ten's and capability. Even if they reached #92 in the US, the sales are unbelievable and a single can sell millions without even touching the Top 10, why spend all the time in the UK craving a number 1 which only sells 415k? they could have a number 50 which sells 600k+ it's a joke that their American journey didn't progress even if they did wait until after Rochelle's pregnancy or Frankie's, who ever? who even knows who was and wasn't pregnant by this point. The fact they haven't wholeheartedly ventured into any other country apart from the UK (and Ireland to a lesser extent) is such a waste as songs like Ego, Higher, All Fired Up and What About Us could have been hits in some countries and therefore they wouldn't be relying on the UK so much. I think this pre-Greatest Hits phase is much like 2012 and WAWF is like 30 Days as someone said and we won't get music for a while now with Frankie doing Strictly, Una doing the Voice In Ireland & giving birth and the other three doing smaller projects such as Mollie and Rochelle's fashion lines. Unless they release a crappy xmas album. But hopefully once this break if I can call it that is over they have an album just as good as On Your Radar which will be ready and released and hopefully the singles are actually chosen carefully and not what sounds best as soon as they've recorded it. They have the potential and I don't actually think it's their fault. Yes other projects don't help but the tour seems to have brought them so much joy I just can't imaging them wanting to split at this point. I think the label really need to change or get involved more with the girls and actually make profitable money. List of what they need to do if they want to succeed again: 1. Sack Peter, Bring Back Jayne :kink: i say this half-heartily true but they reallly do need a better manager or at least be managed better. 2. Improve dancing incredibly and dancing in sync (The Not Giving Up video would be 10x if they were all in sync) 3. Improve vocals (especially Frankie/Mollie) and harmonies (even though harmonies are generally good, THIS COULD BE THEIR SELLING POINT IF IMPROVED) 4. Give the girls pure catchy pop songs which people can identify with the girls, nothing too deep but nothing like WAWF/Gentleman. Something memorable. 5. Get Ina and Steve Mac back on board. Not 100% but enough, something like their contribution on On Your Radar. 6. Plan out promotional tours and single releases way beforehand so the girls can get effective promotion. 7. Genuine Hard work. The talent is there but some times the girls lack energy which is shame because when they are full of energy, they're incredible 8. Learn to sacrifice their personal lives, their families will be there forever, will their careers? 9. Find a style which fits the band and isn't something grannies would wear a.k.a bring back the Up tights ASAP! 10. Stop miming. I'd rather a rubbish singer who has the balls and honesty to f**k it all up then some predictable miming girlband. They're not even bad live and the recent tour is proof of that! I think it's just confidence issues tbh.

TV Competitions
Pixie's dance was better this week than Frankie's imo but I just think she lacks something compared to Frankie. Frankie's performance always make me smile and I don't whether I'm just being bias or shes actually better than the rest

EAU DE GAGA
I bought this last week, probably the best perfume/aftershave/fragrance whatever I've ever bought. I never bought the Fame but it smells 10x better imo

'Cheek to Cheek' • Album Discussion Thread
So happy this got no.1! In all honesty I respect this for getting to no.1 more than BTW and ARTPOP cos I was unsure whether it would make the topspot due to it being a jazz duet album. So proud even if the second week sales are abysmal, I hope her next album hits no.1 in the US which it most likely will (unless its C2C part 2)

I can't wait for this tbh as good as Ultraviolence and The New Classic are, Marina's albums are always the best lyrically imo

Paloma Faith - Ready For The Good Life
I think this is one of her most radio friendly singles after OLCHLT not that it matters but I think it'll chart well! After Can't Rely On You, paloma has been great in my eyes in the past year or whatever and Its so weird that I've only noticed how great she is this far into her career but either way I hope this does well!

Lady Gaga - UK Chart Runs & Sales
Thanks Kath for updating the numbers :D So glad Edge of Glory has passed the platnuim mark! Hopefully Paparazzi can over time and Born This Way (the album) can become a million seller gradually! Also I hope Cheek To Cheek reaches Silver before 2015 and Artpop becomes Platinum over time (if it can, I really hope it does, it's incredibly overlooked and apart from Jewels & Drugs and Swine, it's a great album) Hopefully my purchase of C2C will bounce it to the no.1 spot where it belongs, album sales are that bad it's possible hahahaha

Una Foden ☆ General Discussion
I laughed too hard at this  We'll be lucky if we even get to the contestants, Una will spend half the show talking about Aoife

The Buzzjack Sunday Chart Show Thread- 28th September 2014
Yes! It's nice that we aren't phased by sales but are just in awe of the music! Exactly! The fact she can excel in multiple genres as a mainstream pop-star is extraordinary! and the fact her Jazz Duet album can get a Top 10 placing in a country she's 'decling' in is a pretty good achievement too! The fact it makes her happy is worth a million number ones imo

The Buzzjack Sunday Chart Show Thread- 28th September 2014
Omg hilarious  . I never said I hate her, I think she's so vocally talented and 'Who You Are' is incredible but I can see why people think she's annoying or narcissistic. Just because something isn't 100% positive, doesn't mean it's hate. Jesus.

Is Gaga coming for Adele's wig?
I'd rather a euphoric weird pop song with lyrics which make you think twice and a chorus to die for than some tacky no.1 produced by Dr Luke thankyou Substance > Sales Applause had no chance against Roar and that's fine. Katy is a perfect marketing opportunity, but a year on I know which song sounds as good as it did the first time. Beyonce and Adele are the only one's on Gaga's level, talentwise.

'Cheek to Cheek' • Album Discussion Thread
I'm undecided whether to buy Cheek To Cheek. I love Anything Goes, Bang Bang and Cheek To Cheek (the song) but I much prefer her other music as much as I adore her. I wish she recorded 'Maybe This Time' and that alone would have made me buy the album alone. I'll probably buy it tomorrow. Maybe. Most likely yes.

Songs by other artists...
I don't know whether this is a great or terrible idea but I really can imagine it! hahaha i wonder if they've heard the song, I'd love to see Rochelle's reaction

Iconic. Mollie would obviously do the Intro! :w00t:
