Yes it's high place may be mainly due to this rate happening so soon after hearing the two new tracks but WTTD didn't make it this high? So who knows...only time will tell if 808 is as loved as we think! In my opinion 808 is probably one of my favourite songs they've done and it does sound a lot like What About Us but surely if that's they're only no.1 they should of released it! DUH! Who cares if it makes them seem generic it's miles ahead of WAYWF and Rochelle's fast singing/rap kinda/whatever it is is so fresh and it's nice to hear them change it up abit. Una sounds f***ing brill tbh and in her words it is a total 'banger' tbh. The lyrics aren't exactly Shakespeare but 'Fight like an animal, bang like a cannonball' is amazing and fight was clearly changed from f*** hahahah i like how the two top tracks are sexual for a girl-band with a lot of young fans hahaha. At the same time I can see how people get bored of this. For a fortnight this was the only thing I listened to and then I got sick of it so much but then I saw it live and It's quite nice now and nostalgic to listen to. Receiving 3 11's, a WHOPPING 9 10's and a mixture of 8-9's its no wonder 808 came so high. It's lowest score was a 5 but apart from that it did incredibly well! Despite not being my favourite personal track, I do have to say it's an incredible catchy song and as cringey as the lyrics are they are some of the best they've produced and 'I can do it with my hands tied behind my back' is a career highlight hahaha lets be honest! I can't imagine OYR without GRGS, it's just one of their signature songs and this is clear to see from the results with an INCREDIBLE 6 11's, 7 10's and 5 9's. Even though it came so far, it's lowest score was a 3 but apart from that the rest of the results were marginally positive. As much as I love 808, GRGS really is the better song and would have been a great single choice. I can just imagining 9 year old girls singing the lyrics whilst the video played in the front room hahhahha. Lowest Rate: 6 (Totto) General Comment: Starting the Top 3 is The Saturday's debut album's title track 'Chasing Lights'. Perfomed currently on the Girl's Greatest Hits Tour, Chasing Lights has been a classic sats song since 2008 when the album was released and even managed to make it on The OCC's Top 20 Best Saturdays Selling Songs even though it wasn't a single! One of my favourite Sats ballads, the song is beautifully writtern and the chorus is soo good like I'm so glad it's still as loved as it was 6 years ago. It's lowest score was a 6 which is still good however it's 4 11's, 6 10's and 6 8's are probably why Chasing Lights has charted so high. When people say some of The Sat's songs sound retro, this is the one I think of immediatly! The song is very Vanessa led and thank God for that because she makes it let's be honest hahha, seeing this track performed live twice now after seeing them in Newcastle, I can still say their harmonies are just as good live as they were in 2009. I always thought this could of been a great single as the "go on go on go on" parts are so catchy! "I've been doing this my way, your way, our way it doesn't work" is probably my favourite lyric from the album. Vanessa's ad-libs remain glorious to this day and I'm happy CL has charted at 3. Defiently should of been a single with the girls walking around the forest looking all heartbroken. S*** all over Issues, My Heart Takes Over and Missing You combined. However it's nowhere near the level of Last Call and Denial (the sats ballad elite) So now Faster, One Shot and Chasing Lights are out the way that leaves two of the best Saturdays singles in Sats history: 808 and Get Ready, Get Set! so stay tuned and I'll upload the winning and runner up results soon enough. Forgive Me haha :kink: ok so no.4 and no.5 both received the same total number of scores and mean score however one got more 11's than the other so therefore has placed higher 05. Faster - 8.91 Mean Score: 8.91 Overall Score: 214 / 240 Album: On Your Radar Number of 11's: 2 Number of 10's: 9 Number of -1's: 0 Highest Rate: 11 (Jay, LeeWallace) Lowest Rate: 7 (Sociopath, James, AllFiredUp93, J▼hnkm, Shadow2009) General Comment: In at number 5 is another OYR track meaning GRGS is the only OYR contender left with the possibility of bagging the number one spot! Faster is certainly a fan favourite with 9 10's and an overflow of 9's, if this wasn't enough proof that this song is a widespread hit with the fans, the fact it's lowest score is a 7 proves it's a well loved Sats classic and rightfully deserves a placing within The Top 5. Performed on The All Fired Up Tour and on a show (I can't remember the name of oops) Faster looked dead-set to be a post-album single and however this never worked out which is a shame as it reminds me of Karma and Higher sort of like pure pop sounding music the sats are great at. Vanessa of course sounds the best and the song is undeniably catchy. I always imagined if Faster ever got a video it would be like Calvin Harris's Flashback video as in the girls would hold the cameras and film their daily lives behind the scenes, at shoots, festivals, meeting fans and it would of been a great spring/summer track but oh well. Mollie described this song perfectly in a recent youtube clip I watched "it's like a love song but to an uptempo beat" (or something like that) which is so true and I never really I noticed that until now *facepalm* The final 30 seconds is probably the best bit and imo it's nice but doesn't deserve to rank higher than Last Call/White Lies aka the bast songs of their careers... but anyway at 5 is Faster! 04. One Shot - 8.91 Mean Score: 8.91 Overall Score: 214 / 240 Album: Wordshaker Number of 11's: 3 Number of 10's: 10 Number of -1's: 0 Highest Rate: 11 (Cameron, Totto, Aprilconda) Lowest Rate: 3 (James) General Comment: In at four is One Shot with a whopping 10 10's and 3 respectable 11's One Shot is the final and therefore highest Wordshaker song to chart. Performed first alongside 'Wordshaker' (the song) on The Work Tour, One Shot was an immediate hit with the fans and once the album was released, One Shot looked much like Faster to be a dead-set post album single however this too never happened. Used in an American advert for a fashion show/catwalk programme, One Shot could have even withstood a chance at minor USA success but then again another flaw in the sats career. Anyway enough bitterness, One Shot received mainly high scores from 8-11 including 10 10's which I just can't get over however it's lowest score was a 3 unfortunately. Apart from that it seems a well loved song and the bridge with Mollie's light soothing vocals followed by Vanessa's killer note is amazing (best two members let's be honest) on a side note Rochelle also sounds great!

Saw them at Newcastle and had a great time! I only sat down for the support acts and Walking Through The Desert! I was soo tired by the end of the night but it was worth it to see them live a second time! It seemed so weird seeing them hahaha AND I WALKED PAST PETER, ADAM (i made eye contact with him :kink:) AND NICK THEIR HAIRDRESSER was so starstruck hahahahh but anyway it was a good night despite a few empty seats and Vanessa's vocals are so good live, have they improved or something?

I am so annoyed this never made the Top 5 or even the no.1 spot but I'm still glad it reached the Top 10 because it's phenomenal it really it is and again they are insane not to release this either, s***s all over WMHTO and they actually all get a chance to sing. Sometimes I play the Last Call audio and put the WMHTO video on mute and imagine what the video would have looked like in a perfect world lmfao :cry: :cry: anyway Una and Vanessa own this song and Vanessa's vocals sound at an all time high here and the best they've sounded since Denial. Their best ballad in my eyes, the lyrics are so relatable, the way the bridge builds up only to be complimented by Mollie's soft vocals omg jkdshpew8e8w fs missed single opportunity no. 27. "and I can't let go and I can't forget, all that I'm lefting holding is my regret" is simplistic yet so emotive. Anyway on with the scores... Last Call achieved 6 11's which I think is the most 11's..so far so woo, 5 10's and a lot of 8's/9's so it's no surprise Last Call has made it this high and rightfully so. The lowest score it received was a 3 and it also achieved a 5 but apart from that it got a lot of high scores. I love Last Call seriously, it's so powerful and emotional and just a great f***ing song, If this was a post album single after All Fired Up and the album release it could have been massive alongside the tour and a Christmas-inspired video. ew at life. Ina Wroldsen a.k.a the 6th Saturday also helped pen the track and The Saturdays/Management are absolute fools for not releasing this single! I always envisioned the girls changing from Black and White costumes with slicked back hair whilst dancers go crazy and there's lights and fs It's so F**king good and I don't understand how anyone can give it anything less than an 8. "Turning into shades of grey, go darker everyday, They just won't go away, away" is probably my favourite lyric by them of all time and even Frankie sounds great on the track! Weirdly enough the girls didn't perform this track on the "All Fired Up Tour" probably because they knew they could never sound better than the audio version which is audible heaven. Seriously why wasn't this a single tho? like Wtf. Better than Higher & Ego tbh. :smoke: even my dad likes this song and he's 67 today (happy birthday dave :birthday: )

Walking Through The Desert - 8.02 Mean Score: 8.02 Overall Score: 192.5 / 240 Album: Finest Selection: The Greatest Hits Number of 11's: 0 Number of 10's: 4 Number of -1's: 0 Highest Rate: 10 (LeeWallace, James, AdamAloud, Aprilconda) Lowest Rate: 5 (Shadow2009, Sociopath) General Comment: The First Finest Selection Greatest Hits track makes an appearance as Walking Through The Desert places at 8. Without achieving any 11's, WTTD managed to make it into the Top Ten by miracle a.k.a 4 10's, 6 9's, 5 8's and 6 7's. WTTD's lowest score was 2 5's but apart from that it achieved nothing but high scores and one 6 but that is still good. Therefore WTTD seems to be one of the more widespread liked tracks. I never really liked the track at first but after a few listens today I can understand it's likeability however I do agree with the John Newman comparisons. Despite this, it is better than a large portion of LFTW so that's a bonus and Una sound's great on the intro (if it is Una it sounds like Una) and Vanessa also sounds amazing (as usual) halfway through. I don't have much of an opinion on this song to be honest but it seems to be adored within the BuzzJack Sats fan base. Even though they probably couldn't be arsed to bother "Walking Through A Desert At Night" (or in the daytime for that matter) it makes for a nice track to add to the sats discography and kind of reminds me of Deeper, Faster and Anywhere With You.

09. Wordshaker - 7.97 Mean Score: 7.97 Overall Score: 191.5 / 240 Album: Wordshaker Number of 11's: 3 Number of 10's: 3 Number of -1's: 0 Highest Rate: 11 (J▼hnkm, Joe. , SB.) Lowest Rate: 3 (Hurricane) General Comment: At 9th spot is a Saturdays classic... Wordshaker! Receiving 3 11's, 3 10's, 3 9's and 7 8's, Wordshaker received a lot of high scores despite a 3 and a 4. Wordshaker is the title track of the Saturdays second album and was first performed live on The Work Tour alongside One Shot, another unheard track at the time. Wordshaker reminds me of Forever Is Over in the aspect it's a bit more rockier than the majority of the girls' songs and the guitar solo makes the song more unique! "Velvet lining is on your language. Boy, you got me hanging but it's so hard to hold on" is an album highlight and the bridge is flawless. Rochelle and Vanessa both sound great and I hope this is performed on the Greatest Hits Tour as a surprise. I used to pray this would be a single and thought it would be the No Scrubs 2.0 but I don't know now, it's a great track, I just don't see it as a single. I also remembering watching them performing this and FIO on a Hollyoaks Music Show around the time the album was released and my brother kept saying they could all sing apart from Frankie lmao poor frankie

so sad to hear about Simone Battle, she seemed like the most talented of the group. aswell as the song being incredibly catchy her voice was the one that stood out to me the most out of the girls much like how Vanessa's voice from the Saturdays attracted me to their music, she had such a powerful voice and seemed so talented. Puppet - 7.64 Mean Score: 7.64 Overall Score: 183.5 / 240 Album: Headlines Number of 11's: 2 Number of 10's: 1 Number of -1's: 0 Highest Rate: 11 (Hurricane, Juliano) Lowest Rate: 3 (James) General Comment: Surprisingly kicking off the Top 12 is the 3rd and final Headlines track: Puppet! Featured on the 2010 EP, Puppet received 2 11's, 1 10 and 9 8's along with a couple of 7's. The lowest score it received was a 3. It also received a couple of 4's but apart from that it seems Puppet is a generally well liked track . Una delivers a superb vocal towards the end, it's pure pop and probably the best album track from Headlines imo. The "La La La's" are extremely catchy and whenever I hear this song in my head I always visualize them performing this from the Headlines! 11. Do What You Want With Me - 7.66 Mean Score: 7.66 Overall Score: 184 / 240 Album: On Your Radar Number of 11's: 3 Number of 10's: 2 Number of -1's: 0 Highest Rate: 11 (Jay, Jonjo, DoggySwami) Lowest Rate: 1 (SB.) General Comment: Placing at the unlucky 11th spot is the On Your Radar track: Do What You With With Me. Receiving 3 11's, 2 10's, 5 9's and 6 8's it's no wonder DWYWWM made it this far. The 7th OYR track so far on the chart meaning the Top 10 now contains 4 OYR tracks (Get Ready, Get Set, Faster, Last Call, White Lies). DWYWWM is probably the most "dub-step" The Saturdays have gone and probably will ever go. I'm not really a fan of the song myself too much but it is nice to listen to occasionally and it seems to be a fan-favourite considering it made it this high and received no -1's. 10. Here Standing - 7.85 Mean Score: 7.85 Overall Score: 188.5 / 240 Album: Wordshaker Number of 11's: 1 Number of 10's: 3 Number of -1's: 0 Highest Rate: 11 (Martyn) Lowest Rate: 1 (SB.) General Comment: Kicking off the Top Ten is the mega ballad Here Standing! This is the 1st Wordshaker track to enter the top ten and ever since it's album's release, Here Standing has always been a favourite of mine. Even though it's about love, I always think this would be a good song to perform on the girls Greatest Hits Tour to the fans because without us who else would buy half their singles lmao joking. "You drained me off sadness and filled me back up with love" is also a personal carer highlight and the bridge is magnificent especially with Mollie's voice omg omg fangirl moment. Also Vanessa's ad-libs are flawless as usual. Receiving 1 11, 3 10's, 6 9's, 5 8's and 5 7's, Here Standing rightfully deserves a Top 10 placing.
