I think the record label that Mariah is with is aiming at a much younger market now and so older artists like Mariah aren't the top concern. I think she should leave as well. Maybe move to.... EMI?

She could make a song from iTunes for the album if you pre-order it. Maybe an acoustic version of Forever & For Always or an acoustic version of her first single from the album

I think she released "Catch You" at the beginning of the year just before the summer meaning she missed out on performing it exclusively at festivals and so on. During the summer she released her second single and no one was really interested in it

I used to base mine on if I liked them and what was coming out soon but with this there were massive drops and jumps in the charts so when I started my latest chart I decided to try and base it on iTunes play counts which explains why some old tracks/album tracks get added

Yes, but how she will be successful I'm not sure. I think the best way for her to get on her feet again is to release her music during the summer because pop/dance music becomes bigger at that time and then she can perform the new song at festivals and also the video may even give it a boost. Then she could probably do some sort of stunt to promote the album like maybe perform them on a 4 Music Special or make the album a pre-order thing on iTunes where you can get a song whilst you wait for it to be released but I'm not really sure
