If the Roma are such lovely good citizens why has your former home secretary and one of the most respected members of your party expressed concerns about their lifestyle? i doubt he reads the Daily Mail Why are France, Italy and Germany kicking them out if they are such good people? I have never met any, if i do and they are nice to me i will be nice to them but politicians both left and right are concerned about behaviour of Roma

Nicholas and Rough Copy, 2 of the worst 'talents' in the history of X Factor, 1 or both is going to be in the final Absolute travesty, nothing to do with talent

There have been several talents who have gone home early because they were 'unlikeable' Kitty Brucknell Misha B Cher Lloyd (although she came 4th she would not have got 4th but for manipulation) X Factor should be about singing ability and nothing more, not about looks, not about personality, not whether someone smiles enough, not whether someone cries enough Which is why we have had year after year of safe bet cuddly bland winners who wouldn't say boo to a goose ( James Arthur excepted)

You have to have a tough and ruthless streak to succeed in the industry, i dont think being 'vile' is a negative trait, she just has supreme self belief and single minded determination If Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Rihanna entered X Factor pre fame i doubt any of them would have won or come close to winning as all those lot share the same 'i am the best f*** everyone else' mentality, this would put off the voting public sadly

Because of the media reports of her being 'demanding' and the shoplifting thing she has had to deal with external pressures and public scrutiny in the way none of the other contestants have, it is natural at 16 for pressure to build up and affect someone, this time last year she was studying for her GCSE's

Valid points but who on earth are voting for Rough Copy, they are so awful, probably the single worst group in X Factor history yet got more votes than Luke and Tamera I can only guess they are picking up the joke votes like Christopher did last year and Wagner and Johnny etc

Little Mix won because there was so much public sympathy over one of the girls being bullied online over her weight, that really struck a chord with the public particular again teenage girls (the majority seem to have insecurities about weight/looks) so they were in the right place at the right time

There is the odd anomoly yes, but i think it will be a long time before there is a female solo winner tbh, if there ever is one again

What truly won Alexandra the X Factor was her incredible duet with Beyonce, one of the finest performances in X Factor history, i think without that she would have been runner up or 3rd But boys have taken over X Factor now, Matt, James, Joe, Leon etc and the winner will almost certainly this year be Nicholas sadly

Its long since stopped being a talent contest mate Year after year we lose great talent before their time - Lucie Jones, Laura White, Ruth Lorenzo, Ella Henderson to name but 4 Girls just don't vote for fellow girls, they vote for who they think is the best looking guy So long as that happens then true talent can forget about winning X Factor

I think there is an element of jealousy that has meant Tamera hasn't made it Almost all voters are young and female, many of them have insecurities and think they are ugly and lack confidence and just dont take to a supremely confident girl with stunning looks and incredible talent Tamera will make it without X Factor and be a global star

Absolute disgrace One of the worst groups in X Factor history and a complete wet lettuce who looks like an 11 year old gets through yet the best young British talent in a generation goes home Pathetic

There was an article in the Times recently, a paper that is about as respectable and middle class as you can get, which mentioned about France's determination to kick out the roma, and this is a left wing socialist country doing it, about as far ideologically and politically from the Daily Mail as you can get I don't know enough about the roma to judge them but if most of Europe dont want them then it rings alarm bells

Regulations need tearing up still imho and measures bought in to encourage enterprise Business owners should be out selling not government / EU form filling, bar the most important health and safety matters and the minimum wage all regulations in terms of business should be torn up There should be 2 tax bands, 10p and 25p The government should underwrite grants to start ups, give each start up that meets certain criteria (eligibility decided by a panel of successful business people) a grant of £5000, the government taking a 10% stake in each of these businesses that meet the criteria so that it makes some money if the business is a success.

Success is 10% inspiration (talent) and 90% perspiration (effort / hard work) as the saying goes

The big big problem though is the Roma who are by all accounts a bunch of thugs, thieves and beggars, even socialist France is doing all they can to kick them out when they try get into France, the Italians and Germans dont want them either so it is not a left wing / right wing thing at all, we are not a dumping ground for human trash so Cameron had better send the roma packing when they start arriving

The only way we are going to be able to compete with India and China on the world stage is to have an enterprising and prosperous nation that lives to work as opposed to works to live, we need everyone be it home grown or foreign to adopt that principle, Poles have, they are the hardest working people i have ever come across in this country, I do not believe that Romanians and Bulgarians share the same live to work mentality We need to get rid of restrictive rubbish like Working Time Directive, reform the tax system so that wealth creators and entrepreneurs aren't human cashpoints, set the people free to trade and do deals

Labour grossly underestimated the number of poles who came here, exceeded forecasts several times over Bulgaria and Romania are extremely impoverished countries it would be very tempting for many to come here, scrounge or beg and send money back to their families which is why i think the government are doing the right thing by restricting benefits, although imho by not enough Many that come here will already have a job offer, i wish them well and encourage them but we have to prevent 'Roma' from coming here, Roma are a serious problem that even David Blunkett is deeply concerned about, restricting benefits and banning begging is a good start

I see no problem in this, it is common sense I fully welcome anyone from any country EU or Non EU coming here to work and being able to support themselves financially What i am against is people coming here who cant support themselves financially and rely on the taxpayer to do it Anyone from Bulgaria and Romania who comes here to work and has a job i welcome with open arms, anyone who is going to be a burden can clear off
