OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
Most people in the country are not very bright, the average chav in the street or someone who doesn't read the broadsheets wouldn't know about the debt or what it was
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
The average person on the street doesn't know we are even in debt, its only intellectuals and academics that do And also if the government is in debt it does not mean every business in the UK is, ours is doing well, the CEO has recently bought an aston and a boat, we have 11 vacancies atm The government will likely blame the unemployed for the defecit and the public will swallow it

OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
Yep Goes by the name of Nicholas William Peter Clegg
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
We gave Lib Dems a referrendum on the voting reform and the public voted overwhelmingly to keep the first past the post system, we gave lib dems a vote on political reform, there was nothing in the coalition agreement that stated it had to be a three line whip or a result that Clegg had to be happy about, he got his vote x2 He then threw a hissy fit and stamped his feet like a toddler denied an ice cream, all because he didn't get the result that his arrogance expected We honoured our part of the deal, he didn't

OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
Of course not every single social housing tenant and unemployed person etc votes labour, Crazy Chris votes tory yet lives on state benefits etc but i would be very surprised if labour dont have a sizeable lead, very sizeable infact, among social housing tenants/unemployed/public sector workers/students

OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
I am not entirely convinced by the 11% feeling the recovery bit, we don't know where the questions are asked, and if the 11% is accurate we would be a lot further behind in the polls than we are imho, if 89% still feel bad about the economy yet we are consistently in the low 30%'s in the polls a lot of them must be voting tory as labour has a lead of about 8% atm So i suspect that this 11% thing is a very northern and scots centric sample size

OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
Labour have 1 advantage, the fact it takes a lot less votes to elect a labour mp than it does a tory mp, this unbalanced and unjust system would have been changed to a fairer more equal one but for Clegg

OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
Solihull was voted the best place to live in the UK a couple of days ago so some parts of the midlands, particularly those exposed to the booming car industry, are doing very well
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
Those affected by the bedroom tax are traditional labour voters, people in social housing wont vote tory nor will most unemployed, students and public sector workers and most immigrants with the exception of chinese and indians who strongly support tories
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
They were just generic throwaway towns and cities first ones that came into my head My point was that we will need to win some seats north of the midlands to form a government on our own for definite
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
But only 2 and 6 will influence any votes at the next election
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
We will do extremely well in the South, South East, Midlands, Shires, sea of blue :) But to win a majority we will have to break into some labour territory, we will get nothing in Wales and Scotland
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
Depends where, in London and the South East and the south coast those parts of the country are booming, shops packed, car parks full, vacancies a plenty, life is good for people who live in those areas What we need is the same thing to start happening in poor areas like Barnsley, Bolton, Liverpool, Sunderland, Derby etc as we already have the south east and southern vote.

OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
There is still everything to play for 18 months for an improving economy to start being felt across the country 18 months for more and more people to buy their first home 18 months for more and more jobs to be created There is little or no chance of the economy having a downturn in the next 18 months, its just a question of how much it grows by If labour only have a modest lead when the economy is only starting its climb then it does not bode well for them when the recovery is in full swing

How Would You Plan Out the Era?
Course she should but i don't think they matter to her as much now What matters is albums/tours and she will be ultra successful in both for the next decade and beyond Artpop is not a commercial orientated album with lots of singalong tunes, its not a R1 album
-
How Would You Plan Out the Era?
Singles aren't important any more Albums and especially tours are She has peaked as a singles artist imho much as i love her, her last #1 was Telephone But she will carry on selling multi platinum albums and packing out stadiums across the world

OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
Brown reversed a tory 20 point poll lead 20 months before the election into what turned out to be about a 7 point final margin, thats what i meant Plus hague in 2001 while never going to win the election was certainly showing in the opinion polls a year before that he might cut the majority by a fair chunk, it never happened Kinnock was ahead of Major in the polls virtually till polling day and lost Foot was ahead of Maggie at one time but Maggie got a landslide It is natural that only 11% feel it atm, the recovery is strong but pay rises were low this year, next year they will be higher, plus the real recovery has only begun about 4 or 5 months ago, takes time

OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
I don't detect any real lib dem enthusiasm for labour Only 2 lib dem mp's voted in favour of labour's proposal to scrap the bedroom tax Clegg gave Ed a savaging today in the media I think the lib dems would prefer a tory partnership
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
8% at this stage is very worrying for Ed Cameron had double that in the same period before the 2010 election and didn't get a majority With the economy fast improving, unemployment dropping like a stone, house prices making homeowners feel better the only way is down for labour There are rumours at work we are going to get a 4% pay rise next year, this year we got 1.4%, so with business booming in the UK workers can expect pay rises next year substantially higher than this year which will help the cost of living Add into that the fact that the incumbent government always gets a bounce around election time i think it is safe to say Ed will not be our next PM, not in a majority government anyways I would say the most likely order of scenarios is 1) tory majority 2) hung parliament with DC partnering with Lib Dems 3) hung parliament with Ed partnering with Lib Dems 4) labour majority

Justin Bieber's meltdown
Gaga gets things thrown on stage every time she performs and her dance routines are far more energetic than Bieber's, you would never get Gaga doing this
-
Justin Bieber's meltdown
It is the done thing to pick up the local flag and raise it before then doing whatever with it like giving it to a steward or whatever
-
Justin Bieber's meltdown
It is extremely lucky that that behaviour didn't cause a riot If he had done that with the stars and stripes he would have been lynched by an angry mob, flags are sacred, look how we react when muslim extremists burn the union jack

Mighty Ming steps down at election
Agree, but i thought that might be one of the reasons for the media turning on him
-
Justin Bieber's meltdown
At it again This time abusing the Argentine flag Someone needs to give him a good beating, maybe that might make the little shit change his ways
