artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball Tour
Aha am Gaga obsessed, whenever she is staying at her hotel in London I am usually one of the people in the front row or second row of the barriers, have come within a foot or so of her on probably a dozen occasions and have shook her hand  plus seen her live a few times, she is a huge part of my life  It wont be cheap seeing her 3 times but it will be worth every single penny and more :) Good luck seeing her, its worth it :D

Lady Gaga ♡ Taylor Kinney
I hardly think that Gaga would do a world tour if she has a bun in the oven

Yeah true but with UJM it has cv stored and all you have to do is press a button to apply, 10 seconds Our procedure takes a lot more effort so a workshy person just keeping job centre happy would have far easier ways of applying for stuff

We insist on hand written covering letters (it's a good insight into how people can cope without spellchecker etc) along with a CV sent through the post so none of the Universal Job Match stuff, so while i don't know how many were out of work, it is unlikely to be quota based as didn't go through UJM

It is not even my department, i was not involved in the recruitment process, i was told by the marketing director and the HR director that they found the search for someone frustrating because of the poor quality of CVs and covering letters, the job has been filled, ironically by a LATVIAN born girl, which is not a great advert for the UK youth of today i'm afraid In terms of IT etc very possibly

Budgeting and money skills are exceptionally important in this day and age, not just in a work environment but more importantly away from it, at home, it should be taught at school
-
michael gove
I have to be exceptionally focused at work, when i am outside of work i don't apply the same level of attention to detail as i do at work, so i am the first to admit that at home i am a lazy typer hence stuff like cv's etc, in a focused work environment such elementary errors do not take place, more than my job is worth

michael gove
If it means that much to you am happy to do that, minus my current job of course as would not want any Buzzjackers who hate me tapping up my boss ;) i will upload it tomorrow, along with a covering letter to a ficticious job

Throwing money at something is not always going to solve problems, making better use of existing money is just as important I know it is not in Gove's plans but the whole system needs changing to adapt to the modern world, less teaching on rubbish like kings and queens and more on things like creating cv's, covering letters, financial management, budgeting, web design, things that are going to help in real life Its barmy that a kid can leave school knowing how many wives Henry 8th had but not how to manage a budget/look after money/write a legible cv and covering letter/give a powerpoint presentation

Our marketing department is trying to recruit someone between 16 and 18 to train up in all aspects of the marketing side of the business, and the quality of the cv's and covering letters that have been sent has by and large been embarrassingly awful, these people are barely suitable for a paper round that have applied, something needs to be done to drive up standards, bring it on Gove
-
michael gove
Something needs to be done to drive up standards, too many are leaving school without the numeracy/literacy/communication skills to get by in the world of work Whether Gove's ideas are right or wrong at least he has the balls to change a failing system

England's relationship with an independent Scotland
Won't happen anyways, turkeys don't vote for christmas, Scotland has been sucking off the teat financially of England (London) for years, they won't vote to change things

OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
You missed my point entirely Tyron If a dumb animal like a dog can respond to training and develop a new mindset and behavioural pattern then there is no reason why a person cannot as man is supposed to be far more intelligent and adaptable than a beast
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
Many of the 2.5m will be people in their 50s or early 60s who will probably never work again as they are too old for most employers, there will always be a permanent pool of people in a holding pattern for retirement My post was about the 1m YOUNG unemployed, there is no real excuse, unless they are living in a deeply depressed area work wise such as an old mining area or something, for a young person to be out of work for more than a year in this day and age, those 4 things i listed were all applying to under 25s only
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
Definitely a rogue poll, the last few days have consistently shown the labour lead at 1-3% and nothing has happened politically in last couple of days that would explain such a large labour lead
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
If a dog misbehaves their mindset can be changed by training them and they become decent well behaved dogs, their mindset can be changed completely, so there is no reason why a young person can not have their mindset changed completely and a work ethic drilled into them, this is hard to do when they are getting free money
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
There are nearly 1m under 25s on benefits long term, fit and healthy young men and women, that is utterly unacceptable in a civilised nation, the culture of dependency in this country has to end, someone from Poland comes here and gets a job very quickly in most cases and they do it through knocking on doors of every shop, cafe, factory etc until they get a job, yet our homegrown young benefit claimants cant get a job, if they cant get one they are either 1) Not educated, in which case they should be sent for mandatory training in numeracy / literacy until they are 2) Not managing expectations, think that shop/cafe/ work is beneath them so wont apply 3) Not looking, prepared to spend their life sucking on the teat of welfare 4) Not looking hard enough Under 25s if they know they have a safety net of £50-70 a week pocket money / beer money they wont bust a gut to get a job like the poles etc that arrive here, withdrawing benefits for all under 25s will send a rocket up their bums to do what the poles do and knock on every door asking for a job
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
You have just summed up 99% of MP's from all the parties really tbf But Reeves does have her finger on the pulse when it comes to welfare and realises the culture of dependency has to end, for the sake of the nation, and of the claimants themselves Reading up on her she doesn't want anyone to be out of work over 2 years, she doesn't want any able bodied person under 25 getting benefits, both of those are common sense things
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
I read a while back that she was going to time limit out of work benefits to 2 years, after that the claimant will be forced into work via a job guarantee, i firmly believe in time limiting out of work benefits, not even IDS has suggested a 2 year cap
-
OPINION POLLS: Labour maintain lead
Not at all She accepts that tough action needs to be taken against long term unemployed people to get them working and not wasting their life on the dole, some of the things she says go beyond what IDS thinks, i have respect for her
