With Roch and Franks, lined up for the Strictly 2014 performances....i believe this can be used as a good promo, by using tracks from Living for the weekend for dance moves....and also for background music...!

Yeah that would have been a good option, to make the cover appealing. I expected the album cover to be as catchy as the tunes they sing...:( However the cover, makes the album unnoticeable to people who browse the shelves. The words are a bit transparent to notice 'Living for the weekend' is there.....and their images are a bit far away, unless someone looks at it closer and finds its the Saturdays.....on the cd. Album covers need to be extremely or to an extent innovative (or) beautiful to attract more buyers - by making the album stand out from the other CDs....saying 'Buy me, i'm here ....yoohoo'. The cover is annoyingly pushing them to oblivion.

Saturdays are infact more innovative....they took risk by being innovative... OUTCOME 1. Reality show, which many artistes started to copy after this. 2. Gentleman, by showing their versatility with different genres 3. Disco love video and song, which made everyone feel nostalgic. 4. Google hangouts....and on and on.... These are just few....unlike LM which only follows what simon says. ;)

And it was due to the momentum that was built up, prior to its release. :) Before every release, there should be something like that...

Even if it may not help, album sales, it could help raise their profile worldwide. Afterall radios are reluctant to play album tracks, and we have some single worthy songs , to be completely utilized.

Remember Shania's album UP? It had country, rock and even indian version with the entire set of songs. People need to innovate.

Since album sales are not upto expectations, they can release a major set of the songs as singles , like what Katy,did with Teenage Dream, to completely get its worth. They have chances to lure the public with fresh innovative videos. Moreover , radios play only singles and don't play album tracks....

They can release two versions, one for pop fans, one for dance fans...........and if they want to do country, they can release country version of those songs!
