The ladies get these offers, just because they are from a band - The Saturdays, which is currently in limelite. They can make a difference by making music career as the base, release albums once in 2 years. They can work on different genres,lyrical content as they age. Good music and lyrics is always appreciated. While show business might be unreliable, they can use their intelligence to become someone like 'Victoria Beckham' and earn money, on a long term.

My perception is Gentleman underperformed, coz of its bold lyrics, which a family or a dude wouldn't entertain (though they would acknowledge the facts at heart) . True sats fans would sure support them. But the radio wouldn't, as they did with 'Issues', where 'slap you' was replaced for radio. The Saturdays , i believe, went with Gentleman, to show variety and do something different and probably do something for the society :) They would have gained a whole set of new fans added to the bandwagon. Gentleman will be remembered for its quirkiness and humor. Overall, the album will do well, with the loyal fanbase, and impression they have set.

Well, on the other hand, if they could gain the top spot by pushing down the top acts, like they did to Timberlake, it would boost their career like anything. They had their show at that point. Now, I believe they would create yet another hype by filming a Christmas special in US. At the same time , do a whirlwind radio tour there. This would give enough media feed, that should help the album charting.

Quarter 4 sees tough competition already among,,Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Britney & Miley. Anyone not worried on that.
