I've never thought I would have posted this but... from ZeeNews Brian May plans a new Queen album Washington, Aug 20: Queen`s founding member Brian May has reportedly disclosed plans to work on the first Queen album since the demise of the band’s vocalist Freddie Mercury in 1991. The legendary guitarist had earlier this year recruited ex-Free singer Paul Rogers to take over vocal duties for a series of live dates, and now wants to record new tracks with him and drummer Roger Taylor. "I talked to Paul, and confirmed we will be heading into the studio in October. Now it really looks as if we are on. (It) will bring us all to a new place. We will take it gently at first, the priority being to feel good, and put ourselves in the mood to create," Contactmusic quoted May as saying. Brian May has a musical career spanning more than 3 decades and has penned many hits including `We Will Rock You`, `The Show Must Go On`, `I Want It All`, `Fat Bottomed Girls`, `Who Wants To Live Forever`, `No-One But You`, and `Save Me`. Washington, Aug 16: Pop princess Christina Aguilera reveals that she didn’t even blink when her wedding turned out to cost 2 million dollars, for she had never thought that she was going to walk down the aisle one day. The ‘Dirrty’ singer spared no expense when she wed marketing executive Jordan Bratman in November 2005. And though her wedding totaled up to 2 million dollars, she thinks that it was all worth it for her big day. "Ok, it was somewhat over the top, but I`m not one to look at the cost of everything! I was never one of those girls who couldn`t wait to be married, who couldn`t wait for the white dress. That was so not me. I always felt my career was first. Nothing was going to distract me. Aguilera wanted a winter theme and had chandeliers covered in crystal strands, and tables strewn with flowers dipped in silver glitter. From Billboard Timberlake, Aguilera Lining Up 2007 Tours August 16, 2006, 4:00 PM ET Justin Timberlake will play 100 in-the-round arena shows worldwide beginning next January and running through October, sources say. The trek will be promoted by AEG Live, which previously worked with the singer on a 2003 co-headlining tour with Christina Aguilera. The company will also work with Aguilera on a market-by-market basis for her upcoming European outing, which begins in mid-November and will run until Christmas. A North American run is due to begin in February and is currently being routed. As for Timberlake, he will be out in support of his new Jive album, "FutureSex/LoveSounds," due Sept. 12. He will also perform first single "SexyBack" Aug. 31 at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York.
