  4. The article is not talking about Summer ! But 2nd half of 2006 ! :) It's Oasis and there will be a huge marketing campain for their first collection ! And I really hope a video collection, too... What's really strange is that the band have absolutely no word on this... It's at least 18 minths Noel is saying he doesn't want a GH collection... let's wait for the tracklist: if they don't have new tracks, maybe they'll fill it with rarities... and there are so many ! :o LifeLight
  5. Official ? Great ! So the album is not gonna be out in early October... Is this project gonna be under "Robbie Williams" ? LifeLight
  6. Diddy's Done! Rapper to Release Last Album in September Published: 4/20/06 at 3:05 PM ET Written By: Adam Gonshor (andPOP) - Sean "Diddy" Combs is hanging up the mic. Diddy told MTV Europe that he will release his last album on September 19. "I'm taking from what I've learned from dance music, electroclash, techno, hip-hop, soul, and pop, and kind of fusing it together," he said. He said he the album will be jam packed with guests, including Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, Brandy, Busta Rhymes, Nas and Will I. Am from Black Eyed Peas. "It's like everything in hip-hop is so hardcore with guns and problems and beef, and nobody is being romantic — not in a corny way, but just giving all of yourself. It's still going to have that gangster vibe to it, but it's a musical journey. It's going to feel good." LifeLight

  11. From the Sun Minogue is back in vogue By NADIA BROOKS Sun Online KYLIE Minogue proved she is well and truly back on the social scene by watching one of her favourite designer’s new catwalk shows. The singer, who has recovered from breast cancer, wore a simple yet classy little black dress to the Chanel Autumn/Winter show in Paris. Kylie got to grips with one of the dogs owned by her and French boyfriend Olivier Martinez as she took time out from perusing the latest fashions. Then she caught up with pal Karl Lagerfeld – who obviously inspired her choice of eyewear. The Aussie babe kept out of the public eye for months during her cancer treatment but turned up to support sister Dannii when she performed at G-A-Y in London a few weeks ago. She finally made her first proper public appearance last week at Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball. It’s now full steam ahead for Kylie – who is working on a new album and planning the rescheduled dates of her Showgirl Tour. She also talks for the first time about her cancer battle to Cat Deeley in Kylie In Her Own Words on Sky One on July 16. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2004580...6310225,00.html A lot of Pics here: http://www.kylieminogue.com.br/index2.php?...ews&cod=867#867 LifeLight

  14. Will Young: "I'm taking a break!" the artist presents to TGcom his new cd During Summer 2002, "Light my fire" has been one of the most played song of the season, then came his second album "Fruday's Child" and he's back with "Keep On", now. He has left pop behind and turned into soul. Plans for future are clear: "I'm taking a 2 year break to study, work and grow. I need it after such a long time of hard work", he said to TGCom. What have you learnt since the big success of 2002 ? A lot of things ! about music, life and me. This personal evolution is what I write about in my songs. I think that it's very harsh to evolve, learn, grow in life without making mistakes, but this is what I'm trying to do. If my music is more mature, now, it's cos I think I have more things I can sing about. What are the things you want to sing ? When I started working on my third album, I realised that I had clear ideas on many matters. Particularly, I wanted to write about how hard for a person is to affirm and protect his own personality form the problems you have to face to be completely yourself, when success overwhelms you and conditionings are so many. Radios, tvs, showbiz wants you to have a certain behaviour, certain ideas, but I wanted to be true, sincere, to myself and to others. Even if it means to break the schemes disappoint someone. I've realized how much time we are wasting following falase miths, they are very odds: being thinner, more handsome, having a big, big car, but this isn't a healty way of living. I wanted to write about these things in my songs. Has making your outing caused problems at your carrer ? I've said I'm gay cos I really felt I wanted to do it, saying it was easier tha hiding. I've always lived my diversity as a matter of richness, in every way. If I wouldn't come out, I would have been very unhappy. This is my reality and it's not a problem, and it's not a banner. It's normal for me. But I can understand there are people who do not want to talk about it. It's private and you live it as you feel it. What are your musical influences ? First, the music my parents used to listen to: Rolling stones, Stevie Wonder, but, most of all, the Beatles, who did incredible things. Michael Jackson, then, especially his first albums. I did not know Dorrs too much, tho', that is quite strange when you consider that my success is linked to a Doors song, Light my fire. Regarding this, I'd like to mention a funny anecdote, that happened just right here in Italy, three years ago. During a gig, some guys raised a large stripe with the words "F**K YOU from Jim Morrison" written on it, they were obviously Doors fans, who didn't like too much my "profanation" of a cult song. But I've been very happy to read that stripe, cos I thought that there are still people who has very strong feelings for music: this is such a beautiful thing. The album seems to contain 2 different styles: pop ballads on one side and funky-soul songs on the other... does this reflect your nature ? My two spirits live together in this album, I'm in a constant "unstable equilibrium". I really don't know how this is going to change in the future, and I'm not thinking about it. By the way, I can say that I'm taking a 2 year break, at least, to study, to work and to grow. I think I'll be moving to USA. I really need to take a break after so much time spent working and working. I'm guessing how artists like Beyonce are able to release a cd after another without taking a break... I'm gonna ask this to her, sooner or later ! If you were a painter... [already translated :) ] 2nd article Will Young, young idols grow up The English pop icon take a step ahead with Keep On. But he doesn't fall from the platform. Luca Trambusti Four years ago, a new name, Will Young, 22 at that time, won Pop Idol, thanks by 4,5 million votes. Anything Is Possible/Evergreen followed, who stole from Do They Know It's Christmas? (Band Aid, 1984) the crown of the single most rapidly sold, and, right after, Doors' Light my fire cover confirmed the success, and success brought little envies and little sidlikes. Behind him, a woman with the magic touch for songwriting, Cathy Dennis (Spice Girls, Britney, Hooverphonic and Kylie's Can't get you out of my head). After his debut - From now on - and his second album - Friday's child - at the end of 2005 Will Young, survivor of his public coming out, released in Uk Keep On, a more mature album. The cd, out in Italy since late May, has not started with the same outcry of its precessors: first single Switch it on has not climed the charts as usual, but All time love, 2nd single, conquered the top of English chart, helping the album way back to the high positions of the album chart. How came that All Time Love had so much success ? there are basically two reasons. This kind of ballad, very classic, soft, delicate, can touch so many hearts. People loved it and this influenced album sales. The second reason is that the accompanying video is so beautiful. My label really helped me, it gave me a big budget, that let me do a very good job ! As far as I'm concerned, I pay a lot of attention to the visual side of this job and I'd really like to keep doing this in the future. Keep On is much mature than your other albums. It's very difficult to grow up and evolve without making mistakes, but I think I quite succeded with it. I have so many things to say, now, and, most of all, I really know what to say. What have you got to say ? when you're successful, you're conditioned by the media... everyone expects you to do that certain thing and they feel to have the right to tell you what to do. I've just talked about this, about my need of sincerity. This society makes you waste your energies in losing weight, in your look and appearance, in having a big and luxury car. True values are other, tho'. You openly declaring your homosexuality is a part of this process ? Some of your colleagues do not do it cos the don't want to avoid the girl audience. Was it the same for you ? I openly said it cos it's easier. It would have been so hard to lie and hide, for me. I like to be not like others, I like diversity, but I don't think it's worng if you decide to hide it. I did it cos otherwise I would have been very unhappy. But I'm not wearing it like a flag, it was not a businees move. The songs in the album are so different one form another... It's a part of myself, I'm in such e aonflict, sometimes. They are all conditionings that try to bring you to one side or the other: the goup, the structure of the songs, my mood. I don't like labels, they are too rigid. Wich one of the two sides do you like ? The funk/soul one, cos it's more difficult, it's such e challenge. Writing and singings ballads is quite natural to me, and sometimes it's more common, but I really need incentives. I'm not naturally inclined to write happy and ottimistic songs, but words that come from my heart, it gives them credibility. In futire, I'd like to do something more sperimental, trying a road I've never tasted. On the other hand, I signed a contract and I started recording, making tours, without giving a chance to my need for sperimenting. I'd like to spend some time on it, now, and I really don't know what it will bring. I'd like to move to US to study again, to start as a new artist. What about the collaboration with Nitin Sawhney? I really liked working with him ! I think this collaboration created the best song on the album, Home. Doing a song written by a famous artist makes me feel nervous, because I don't know how the song will be. Nitin co-wrote the song, we, and the other producers, let the track grow. It's been such an experience ! It make me understand alot of things. And Nitin's secrets, too ! I'm sorry, so sorry (as Neil sings in the Sorry remix! ;) ) for being so late and for the translation ! I really hope not to have mis-traslated the words and the ideas of Will LifeLight
  15. another interview from Italy ! :) Will Young, piccoli idoli crescono Con Keep On l'artista pop inglese fa un passo avanti. Senza cadere dal podio. Intervista e Video Guarda I videoclip di Will Young dal sito ufficiale di Luca Trambusti Quattro anni fa un nome nuovo, Will Young, all'epoca ventiduenne, fu incoronato al successo dalla trasmissione televisiva inglese Pop Idol, dove vinse votato da 4,5 milioni di persone. Seguì Anything Is Possible/Evergreen che strappò il titolo di singolo più rapidamente venduto a Do They Know It's Christmas? della Band Aid (1984) e, poco dopo, con la cover di Light My Fire dei Doors confermò il successo e con il successo arrivarono le piccole invidie e le piccole antipatie. Dietro a lui, una donna dalla scrittura magica, Cathy Dennis (Spice Girls, Britney Spears, Hooverphonic oltre che autrice di Can't Get You Out of My Head di Kylie Minogue). Come mai All Time Love ha avuto questo successo?

Postponed ? :o From Daily Star Paris Hilton has revealed auditions plans to record a cover version of Gnarls Barkley's smash hit "Crazy" for her new album - which now looks to have been moved back for a possible September release. Originally planned for a summer release on her own Heiress Records - a subsidy of Warner Bros. - the former fashion model and hotel heiress now aims to put the album out at the end of the summer. "It's just Paris's latest idea and because she shares a label with Gnarls, she thinks that it will all be a piece of cake," a source told the Daily Star. "The chances of it happening are minute, but everything has to go on pause again while it's all discussed. That means the album won't now be out until about September. At first it was July, then August. It keeps nearly getting finished and then something else happens." LifeLight

  22. you can listen here: http://www.myspace.com/jarvspace Welcome friends, to my humble little corner of the Internet. As you can see from the photo over there I have been computing to my heart's content for some time & now I want to share the experience with you. Because now I have something to share. If all the technical bits & pieces are working properly then you should be able to hear a new song I've been working on. I wanted you to hear it now cos It's exactly 1 year since that Live-8 thing & it was the night of that event that I wrote this song. I apologise for all the swearing but sometimes that's the only thing that seems appropriate. It's in no way a criticism of Geldof & co. but I remember thinking at the time: "Where does engaging with these politicians/businessmen really get you?" - ( 12 months on & the c**ts still haven't paid up as far as I can make out) - maybe the problem is something more ..... fundamental. Anyway, what do I know? I'm just a pampered rock star - but at least I think it's good to discuss this stuff. Don't you? Let me know what you think. Oh yeah - & thanks for visiting. I hope this is just the start of a beautiful relationship. love, Jarvis xx LifeLight
