  2. LifeLight posted a post in a topic in Madonna's Madonna
From MadonnaTribe Madonna Tribe has just heard fantastic news about the recently rumoured duet between Annie Lennox and Madonna. We are happy to report for the first time online (meaning that this info is not available anywhere online as we speak) that the song is titled "Sing My Sister" and that it can be described as an uptempo ballad. Madonna was the natural choice to take a part to this song as it opens with the voice of an African woman calling for an implementation of the hiv mother to child transmission prevention programme in South African hospitals. Annie starts the song saying "Sing My Sister Sing" on a piano loop and then Madonna comes in after a couple of minutes for what can be called more as a "special appearance" than a real duet song. Her part (basically the bridge of the song) is reminiscent of similar appearances in "Sidewalk Talk" or "Get Over" The song is an hymn to the women of the world reminding them that "woman kind" is strong and they have to let their voices be heard. We have also been told the song, (lasting a bit more than four and a half minutes), ends in fade with an "African Chant", something similar to "Lion King" songs :cheer: :cheer: LifeLight

  21. From Perez... During a recent tour stop in Zurich, Switzerland, the pathetic guy busted out with Rehab and starting singing the Amy Winehouse instant classic. But, instead of keeping the original lyrics - "They tried to make me go to rehab and I said no no no" - Mr. pathetic changed it up and sang "They tried to make her go to rehab and she said no no no." Click here to check it out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcVflqSIdWY Hmmmm.... Whoever could he possibly be talking about???? As if it weren't obvious enough, at another part in the show, Mr pathetic covers Gnarls Barkley's Crazy. Once again, he changed the lyrics from the first person to "I think she's crazy....I think she's crazy." And...."I remember when, I remember when she lost her mind." Click here to check that one out too! Another pathetic one who jumps on the "poor addicted britney" bandwagon... this pathetic talentless bimbo is so way pathetic ! LifeLight

  23. From Brisbane Times Can't get Kylie out of your inbox Michelle Griffin | June 4, 2007 When one song is leaked online, it looks like carelessness. But when up to 10 tracks linked to Kylie Minogue's new album are circulating in cyberspace, it feels like marketing — or an elaborate trick. Minogue's post-cancer comeback project has been leaked with suspicious regularity since a song she wrote with New York glam pop act the Scissor Sisters appeared online more than two years ago. In the past fortnight alone, five new songs have been uploaded on to file-sharing sites, and fan sites have published the track list of a reported three-CD set of 49 demos. But should we think we're so lucky? More likely we're just being had — by a cunning cyber-age twist on the old record company ruse of manipulating what gets played where (and how often) to whet public appetite for "product". Leaking online might not be as obvious as bribing disc jockeys to play records in the bad old days, but it might be just as effective. No one is going to plug the leaks when the leaks are really free plugs, insiders say. "She and her record company leaked the tracks deliberately," says music industry analyst Phil Tripp, who runs Australian music consultancy Immedia! "It's the newest gimmick in the industry, the leaking of tracks. It's the new marketing black. It's at a time when she needs as much positive press as she can get. Not just her, but everyone in the industry. You need as much exposure as you can get, and you need as much advance publicity as possible." The music blogs agree. "We don't really approve of leaked tracks flying around the web before an album's even been completed," says UK music site Pop Justice, but in the case of Kylie Minogue, the constant, relentless barrage of leaked material almost makes it seem as if "someone up there" wants us to hear it all. Minogue's not the only leaky act. Two songs from the endlessly delayed Guns 'N Roses CD, Chinese Democracy, have been circulating since late last year, with another three hitting the web in early May. Nine Inch Nails had to tell their record company to back off, when the Recording Industry Association of America's lawyers sent cease-and-desist letters to websites offering downloads of deliberately leaked tracks from new CD Year Zero. The first new single in six years from the re-formed Smashing Pumpkins, Tarantula, leaked on to the net last month, well ahead of the album — expected in late July. While Universal Records took legal action against MySpace last November over leaked tracks by hip-hop artist Jay-Z, and Natalie Imbruglia has lamented on her blog her dismay at rough demos of songs being posted on the internet, many labels freely admit to leaking tracks on purpose to build buzz. Franz Ferdinand's label manager, Kris Gillespie of Domino Records, told the Christian Science Monitor, "We were seriously considering leaking tracks from the Scottish rockers' latest release because the watermarks and copy protection were almost doing too good a job." Minogue's latest leaked demos coincided with her 39th birthday and the reports that she was involved with a married Mexican film director, Alexander Dahm. If the singer ever needed good buzz, it's now. Could this perhaps explain Minogue's "to do" list, also leaked last week? Her stylist William Baker was snapped by a Daily Mail photographer leaving her house carrying an A3 envelope on which was written, in big letters, such buzz-worthy tasks as "tour next year" and "Dr Who script — call Russell".
