J P Morgan "donates" $4.6 million to NYPD
Well, I hope you're not offended for me saying this Phil, but as far as I'm concerned, the likes of J P Morgan and Goldman Sachs are the enemies in this Financial War, especially seeing as how the Prince of Darkness himself, Tony Blair is one of their minions (so, I have to call into question whether or not he was working for the banksters all along when he was supposedly looking out for the interests of the UK), and he was Libya lobbying Ghadafi and his son Saif, so he's just a big fat scumbag who needs to be shot and dragged through the streets... They only give to charities because it's tax deductable, let's face it....

The Digital Economy Bill.
Well, if they were expecting a Hung Parliament, why were they making promises and pledges about tuition fees anyway...? Did they think f**king Nu Labour were going to do away with them, seeing as how they were the party who introduced them in the first place...? PMSL.... Westminster Labour is nothing like Scottish Labour, the Lib/Lab pact was a fairly good fit in the Scottish Parliament (until Wendy Alexander messed things up), it maybe wouldn't really have been so in Westminster so much... I'm sorry, but just saying "the Germans are more used to Coalitions" is no real argument... Perhaps we need to be more like Germany in that case then, at least their economy seems to be doing fairly alright, despite having the pressure of bailing out Greece....
-
The Digital Economy Bill.
No, Suede, I get "Coalitions", but as Bill Hicks would probably say "A Coalition is when you have TWO parties making decisions".... Germany has a real Coalition, for example, what we have is a joke... And selling out the single most fundamental principle of your party's whole ideology is not merely "reneging on a manifesto commitment", it's a betrayal of everything the Liberal Democrats ever stood for.... No one will EVER vote for these clowns again.... And why should they...?

The Digital Economy Bill.
Nahh, I just dont buy that, he didn't push hard enough for it and just jumped very hastily at a pathetic compromise which nobody in the country liked (or even really undestood)... And look what happened, an absolute disaster and I seriously doubt we'll ever have a referendum on voting reform again in our lifetime... Cheers Nick. You c'unt..... <_<

Liam Fox
You seriously have to wonder about this guy and the absolutely dysfunctional decisions that he's made as Defence Secretary.... Not only the cuts to armed forces personnel or the method by which he's basically stabbed them in the back in a manner that would do Josef Stalin proud when he betrayed the Polish resistance fighters to the Nazis, but this coming on the back of the revelations that he allowed the wretched Murdochs to sit in on "top secret" defence meetings.... Is Fox just an idiot, or a dangerous lunatic playing fast and loose with national sercurity...? Either way, he has to go... This week we've had a "Home Secretary" telling bare-faced lies about an immigration case to appeal to the tabloid-reading masses, and now we have this.... As for Adam Werritty himself, well, can there be three more dodgy words in the English language than "Dubai venture Capitalist".... God forbid he turns into another Mandelson.... -_-

The Digital Economy Bill.
The Govt cant function without their support though, therefore they should be pushing a lot more... They sold the young generation out with tuition fees (which WAS an election pledge) and the scrapping of EMA grant, and pussied out on the PR referendum and gave us a vote on the wretched AV system instead (PR has been a pledge of the Lib Dems for about the past several decades since their inception, so they're basically going back on one of their founding principles....). Every time you hear the likes of Clegg, Cable, Alexander and Huhne they sound more and more like Tories.. They are a set of turncoats and traitors, end of story.... No one likes a Tory, but people like a sell-out wimp like Clegg even less....
-
The Digital Economy Bill.
Weren't the Fib Dems supposed to be getting rid of this bill.....? Oh, of course, that would be before the "Coalishun Agreement" when they actually had principles...... -_-

J P Morgan "donates" $4.6 million to NYPD
http://theelitist.net/nypd-receives-jp-mor...ccupywallstreet Recently the NYPD received “the largest donation in the history of the foundation” from JP Morgan as stated in a press release (mirror), a sum of $4.6 million. Today during the “Solidarity March” protesters were kettled by the NYPD, and they’ve been (and still are) arresting people one by one, seemingly at random (Including children/teenagers), looking at the live feed I can see no reason for the arrests, people are just standing there getting picked off one by one. Now the real reasons are unknown so I can not comment on whether these are lawful or not. I also can’t help but think that this is a strange coincidence; the arrests of (mostly) harmless protesters (protesting against the banks) and the biggest donation to the NYPD in their history (by one of those banks). The livestream (well it was live, their battery went dead as I’m writing this, currently previously recorded footage is played) currently has 20,000+ viewers and is still increasing rapidly, the people are watching. If the NYPD ignored the whole thing and acted rationally rather than randomly arresting and macing people this would’ve gotten nowhere near the attention it is now getting, so I guess we have to thank them for that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Innit marvellous... When J P Morgan gives millions of dollars to the NYPD, it's called a "donation", when Pablo Escobar does it, it's called a "bribe"... So, I guess $4.6 million is the price for "protection" from protestors.... http://www.jpmorganchase.com/corporate/Hom...ticle/ny-13.htm

Amanda Knox acquitted
Maybe she is, maybe she isn't, we'll simply never know because of the police botch-job... So, who's to blame for that then..? The police or Amanda Knox...? I say the Police... Just like the racist cop who planted evidence against O J Simpson... The Police are all too often their own worst enemies, and just dont seem to "get it".... Which is why Policing clearly needs some kind of serious reform all across the board.... Not only are they fitting up innocent people, they're doing stupid shite that may be getting apparently "guilty" people off the hook....

Has Theresa May hoisted herself on her own "purr"tard?
Daily Fail readers are morons... End of....  I mean, naturally you'd bring up the cat, you'd say anything really to be able to stay in the country and not be deported... I'm betting that if Michelle Bachmann or Rick Perry win the US election next year, there's gonna be a lot of Americans coming over here, buying cats and claiming asylum status.....

Boris Johnson seems to have selective amnesia....
  Well, yeah, I guess the Tories must really like the poor, they keep adding to the ranks of the poor every time they make cuts, freeze peoples' wages or bring out the unemployment figures..... -_-

Exactly, you cant prove a negative.. Which is why the onus is on the prosecution to prove a positive... It's "Beyond Reasonable Doubt" for a damn good reason... You see, the Scottish Legal system has a very sensible outlook, we have a "Not Proven" verdict, basically "well, you might have done it, but the evidence simply isn't there to convict you"... And that's what you have here with Amanda Knox if you ask me - NOT PROVEN... Unfortunately because just about every other legal system in the world looks at everything with ridiculous "Black and White" extremes, you either get "Innocent" or "Guilty"...

Boris Johnson seems to have selective amnesia....
Did you know that now the Conservatives are the "Party of the Poor"... I mean, they must be, Ian Duncan Smith said so, and he would never lie.....

Has Theresa May hoisted herself on her own "purr"tard?
Actually, I was thinking more the system that sent Troy Davis to the Gas Chamber......

What..? A retrial based upon the same dodgy, corrupted evidence...?

Has Theresa May hoisted herself on her own "purr"tard?
  Indeed.. Appealing to peoples' prejudices and basically just being lazy....
-
Has Theresa May hoisted herself on her own "purr"tard?
In all seriousness though... We can all laugh at this, but r*t**** like the EDL/BNP and their supporters will actually take this seriously.....

Has Theresa May hoisted herself on her own "purr"tard?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-15171448  What a complete idiot, completely flat-footed by Andrew "Brillo Pad" Neil....   This is almost as good as the Daily Mail's Amanda Knox story...... Hey, perhaps that should be her career now, writing copy for the Fail....

Boris Johnson seems to have selective amnesia....
  Spot on....

Is this actually true or is it just anecdote....? And besides, it could've just been nerves.. In a situtation like that, no one really knows how they'll react until it actually happens to them....

Boris Johnson pledges to bring back village spirit Boris Johnson pledged to bring back village spirit to local communities in London today in a speech to delegates at the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/c...age-spirit.html The London Mayor said it was "unromantic but true" that the world's future lay in cities, rather than villages - even though people "yearned for the village, that Eden from which we have all been expelled". He said cutting crime and improving transport would attract businesses and called for "the right tax and regulatory framework - I will say no more than that", believing "British enterprise will do the rest". Mr Johnson boasted of the successful introduction of a shared public bicycle scheme, dubbed Boris Bikes, telling activists: "There's nothing more villagey than the sight of someone sailing elegantly past, bolt upright on one of these big, blue, burly bicycles." Though, he admitted to being unsure as to whether he should be flattered or insulted that not one was stolen during August's riots which swept the capital. He claimed the violence and looting did not reflect London, adding: "I'll tell you who did stand up for London: it was that chap who sat on that rioter's head, that woman who made the fantastic speech in Hackney and scared them all off... it was the restaurant workers who fought them off with rolling pins and saucepans, it was the broom brigade of Clapham who stood up for London "Those people represented the true spirit of London." Mr Johnson, who is standing for re-election in May, said his record since being elected in 2008 showed he deserved a second term. In a speech which failed to mention his Labour rival Ken Livingstone once, Mr Johnson pointed to the scrapping of bendy buses, falling crime on public transport and the launch of the Oyster card on overground trains during his tenure. He told party members: "I reckon we have a record to be proud of. "We have effectively cut the council tax by 10 per cent over the last three years, we have put Oyster on the overground, we have delivered a 24-hour freedom pass for the people of London - a fact I hardly dare mention in Manchester in case they get jealous - (and) the last bendy bus will leave our streets by Christmas. "In the new year we will see a generation of Routemaster-style bus with the open platform." Mr Johnson, who previously criticised the Government's plans to cut police numbers, said he would not allow the number of officers in the Metropolitan Police to dip below what he deemed "safe and reasonable". Activists gave the Mayor a standing ovation as he closed his speech saying he had delivered "sensible, moderate, one-nation Conservative government in London", but there was "so much more to do". He added: "I have no doubt it is going to be a tough fight, but with your help we can do it again." Mr Cameron, who was in the hall for Mr Johnson's address, earlier praised the Mayor, who many believe harbours hopes of succeeding Mr Cameron as Tory leader and Prime Minister. Mr Cameron told LBC 97.3 Radio today: "At a time of economic difficulty, I think he brings strong, charismatic leadership, he brings people together, he cheers people up. "I am right behind him because I think the last thing London needs is a return to Red Ken." Mr Livingstone later blasted Mr Johnson's speech, branding him "out of touch". The Labour candidate said: "Today we saw the real Boris Johnson - an out-of-touch Conservative, failing to put ordinary Londoners first on the issues that really affect them, from rising fares to police cuts. "He gave no hope to Londoners facing another steep fare rise this January, which will mean bus fares are up 56 per cent under a Tory mayor, and gave no hard commitment on police numbers, which are in fact due to fall by 1,800 according to his own Metropolitan Police figures. "Under the Conservatives, Londoners are less well-off and increasingly less safe, under a moonlighting mayor who meets bankers more than the police. "People in London are feeling the squeeze but Boris Johnson doesn't see it." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Yeah, Clapham, would those be the same residents of Clapham who gave you a f/ucking good talking to when you'd finally deigned fit to come back from your holiday and grace them with your presence.....? fpqJGutYNcs He really is just a clueless dick.... Well, I guess every village needs an idiot though, so, it would appear BoJo is volunteering for that particular post, to which he is most well suited..... -_-

Precisely... And this is exactly the reason why I'm very dubious about DNA evidence being used as some sort of panacea or "silver bullet"... That, and also there's a thing called "Secondary DNA Transfer"..... Say for example you're with someone, you give them a hug goodnight, a hair from your head transfers to their clothing, then that person goes out and kills someone, and that hair comes off their jacket and ends up at the murder scene.... DNA evidence says YOU'RE the guilty party..... and some people actually want a compulsory DNA database in this country.... Yeah, great idea..... -_-

It's called "reasonable doubt", and there was plenty of that in this case... Thankfully, the Italian courts have admitted their mistakes, and have admitted that a guilty verdict is simply not sustainable in this case... Which is more than can be said for so-called American "justice" in the case of Troy Davis..... Oh, but he wasn't a pretty, white, American girl was he....? <_< While I feel sorry for Meredith Kercher's parents, it would be absolutely perverse to allow a severely doubtful conviction to continue just to make them feel better.... Blame the authorities for making their mistakes, not Knox or Solecitto..... And here's another thing.... Why is it that we're all focussing so much on HER and not on the bloke...? There were two of them here, and yet Amanda Knox seemed to take her disproportionate share of the blame... Typical, it's always the woman's fault isn't it...?
