It's the same here in Iceland, seemed like we were well and truly on the downward slope with the second wave, but yesterday we bit of a spike from 18 to 26. Mind you, population is so small here it could just be normal fluctuations. Lol

    Your tone is very, extreme.
  3. Has Peacemob made an appearance yet?
  4. Excellent news! I'm so happy. Trump will kick and scream of course, but it's done. Nicola Sturgeon and Kier Starmer have already offered their congratulations to Biden and Harris. Westminster has said sweet FA. Bet Boris' is sh#ting himself.
  5. I'm still baffled that the worlds biggest western "democracy" can take THIS long to count votes, when for all of our systems faults the UK gets it done in ONE night. 😂

Taken from Electoral Calculus . Prediction based on opinion polls from 09 Oct 2020 to 28 Oct 2020, sampling 13,462 people. CON 303 LAB 260 SNP 58 LIB 6
  7. Hoping(and still quietly confident) that Biden can do this, but also trying to mentally prepare myself for the possibility of FOUR MORE YEARS. :(

I'd like to think so but do you not also think we could see fallout from Corbyns suspension from his supporters? If anything I'd anticipate Labour(unfortunately) dropping back again.
  9. The man has an openly transphobic, homophobic, racist administration and has ripped families apart and sent people "back home" to countries where they face persecution, torture, and murder...so yeah...buying a few pizzas doesn't undo that. Strange that isn't it?

Seat projection based on September poll average: CON - 308 LAB - 255 LIB - 6 SNP -58 Still 4 years away but it says something when a party with an 80 strong majority can lose that much support in less than a year.

  13. How would we possibly be viewed as strong? We have nothing special to offer the world! Jesus wept Chris, you are in for a rude awakening coming January.
  14. Chris, bless. You still aren't quite getting how this works are you? How do you think this looks to the rest of the world? Let me explain how it looks.. The UK is an unreliable nation that is willing to break the laws how it sees fit. They have no resources that we can't get from anywhere else anyway. They're belligerent....meh...screw them. Being "British" doesn't mean anything to anyone outside the UK....or England for that matter. Get down off your high horse.
  15. More validation for me upping sticks and coming over to Iceland last year. I'll sit tight and have my EFTA/EEA passport again in another 5 years. The Brexiteers can suck it up and down this.
  16. Depressing but entirely expected result tonight. This country(as it exists for now at least) is completely f***ed. How can anybody outside of the EU see the UK as a valuable trading partner when it's so willing to break rules as it pleases?
  17. Forget it. He´s going on ignore, I can´t be arsed with this b#llcks
  18. I´m not asking them...I´m asking you, because you are the one that said that everything will be rosy. You still haven´t answered the question. How? Give some examples?
  19. What? What does that have to do with my last post? I asked you to give examples of how the UK will be better off turning its nose up at its closest neighbors and you start rabbiting on about the Labour Party. I will ask you again... In what ways will the average British person be better off?
  20. Please provide some actual examples of how the UK will be better off by itself on the world stage and how working class British people will be better off in their day to day lives without resorting to abstract slogans like "take back control" or insults. If you can´t do that then stop wasting peoples time.

Surely his girlfriend will have to strictly self isolate now as she is expecting? I'd hate to be an expectant parent right now, must be so scary.
  22. Who could have possibly seen this coming huh?
  23. If that´s it then it´s the first UK entry for a good few years that I have actually liked! I´m not sure it´s THAT competitive, and it´s not going to be a contender, but I could see a scenario where the juries show it a lot of love. I kept my expectations low and I´m pleasantly surprised.
  24. He´s also actually representative of British music rather than the MF reject left over TAT that we´ve been given in the last 4 years(no shade to Sweden, but theres a reason those songs we got didn´t make it to Scandinavian finals) You know, I think it could well be him!
  25. Jâ–²hqs message contains lyrics from a John Newman song ;)
