Having spent a lot of time in countries where citizens don't get to pick their government, I really really hate the whole "why bother" thing. Regardless of the party you decide on, I really think everyone SHOULD use their vote. None of them appeal to you? Then go with the one that you feel is the lesser evil.

Living abroad I can largely escape it. There was a lot of hoohah on facebook between people on both sides of the fence and I've just ignored them.

That always struck me as very sketchy. Who goes snooping around a crime scene, and why? Then they very very conveniently end up with the inheritance. I've read there was a lot of tension and drama in that family. Both him and his sister were adopted and spent large amounts of time away from home and had never really connected with the parents.

It really is amazing(in the worst way). He's running a supposedly democratic country and the minute he faces any type of criticism or is held to any type of accountability whatsoever he runs away like a scared little boy.

I'm also unconvinced of his guilt. He doesn't strike me as a particularly likeable person but that isn't a crime. Also, the way the extended family shuffled into the house not long after the deaths makes me rather uneasy.

The thing is they probably don 't even realize the are racists either.

I am genuinely really upset by this. I worked directly with disabled people for four years. It's absolutely disgusting. This is a representative(with these views...THESE views in 2019 for christ sake) of the party that, come next week will probably get back in for another 5 years and yet people stick their heads in the sand and use the "oh well nevermind they're all as bad as each other argument".

Chris doesn't care how true it is. In his head Tories = good, Labour = bad and no amount of shitty evil things the Tories do will change that. The tories could force him into work tomorrow and he'd find a way to blame Labour. I wouldn't waste anymore energy.
