Erm..he's right though? You don't know him. It's just very hard to take you seriously when we all know that the only reason you take issue with him is because you know that most people who signed up to vote off of the back of what he did are most likely to vote Labour. I mean, Chris thats it basically isn't it? Had it been somebody with audience more likely to vote for the Conservatives you would have either A. Fully endorsed them or B. Not said anything. Like Boris banning the Daily Mirror from his bus - the only paper thats been remotely critical of him and his government. Somehow that's OK with you, when we all know full well that had Labour pulled a stunt like that you would be on here whining about it. So why not just admit that?

Why not exactly? He might be "rap star" but it's still perfectly possible for him to have an interest in politics and be invested in it. If it encourages more people to register to vote then that's no bad thing. Or is the thing that really bothers you is who his audience(mostly younger) are more likely to vote for? :rolleyes:

I'm also terrible at calling these things, but given everything(even it's not the outcome I personally want) I would would say its certain that the Tories will be the largest party and likely that they will have enough seats to form a majority.

I just saw this on Twitter. It makes me sick to my stomach how nasty and full of hate some people in this country have become. I mean, for F*** SAKE a 72 year old woman being attacked because of her political views? The parties may "win" or "lose" but this isn´t one big game. A vote for Tory means years more austerity and hardship for many. I have friends and family(degree educated) who are working harder than ever but are getting POORER. This wasn´t happening to them under Labour. Of course this is an alien concept to you because you´ve NEVER had to lift a finger on your ADULT life. So forgive us if we take issue when you start to spout nonsense about how people shouldn´t be so greedy and should be happy with their lot when you literally get money for doing SWEET F.A. Maybe if you had to actually get off the sofa and go and earn your crust for the pittance that many people get in return, then you would have a different view.

The general public consists of many different people with different opinions, you might speak for some of them but you certainly don't speak for many. We don't like him because his actions and his party are despicable and he doesn't give a shit about vulnerable people on society. I don't expect Labour to win but if they actually did it wouldn't surprise me if something like this happened. The powers that be don't want somebody like Corbyn anyway near the top.
