ADAM'S TOP 40 - (#93) - 08/01/2022 LAST TIME: Grace Davies was my highest entry at #20 with Wolves, and Leona Lewis made it two weeks at #1 with One More Sleep, but who will take over in the Christmas reset? Let's find out. This chart is based on what I'm vibing to this week and is purely based on my most played songs on a rolling four-week rotation, so could bring anything from last week's releases right down to anything released in the past! :) TOP 40: 01. Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 76. Charli XCX - Beg For You (feat. Rina Sawayama) hw_Gtwdnp1Q Release Date: January 27, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: 24 Peak: 09 | Adam's Chart Run: 26-11-9-x (3 weeks) I really enjoyed Beg For You when it was released, but it did age pretty quickly for me. The sample is very well done though.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 77. Demi Lovato - WASTED n1RDgyHkuIQ Release Date: August 19, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: DNC Peak: 05 | Adam's Chart Run: 40-21-31-20-12-10-5-10-15- (9 weeks - still charting) Demi Lovato returns with another track from their 2022 album HOLY FVCK. Demi is renowned for writing songs based on their troubled past and this track is no difference in speaking out on their battle with drug addiction. WASTED is one of my favourites from this album.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 78. Come From Away - 38 Planes (Reprise) / Somewhere In The Middle of Nowhere mgG0kchswJI Release Date: March 10, 2017 | UK Chart Peak: DNC Peak: 26 | Adam's Chart Run: 26-40-x-34-32-30-x (5 weeks) It seems quite fitting that I'm posting this number today. Come From Away plays it's final performance in London this evening. This show really is just stunning and I will let the video speak for itself.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 79. Heathers the Musical - Our Love Is God b2KP_fZhVzw Release Date: March 1, 2019 | UK Chart Peak: DNC Peak: DNC | Adam's Chart Run: N/A The closing number from Act 1 of Heathers, and where the reality of Veronica's life choices hits home in the show. I won't spoil anything but this is where the show takes a darker turn and I love the dramatic ending. Our Love Is God is not my favourite song from the show and finds itself here due to many replays of the cast recording.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 80. Justin Bieber - Anyone KIK3azN4w34 Release Date: January 1, 2021 | UK Chart Peak: 04 Peak: 03 | Adam's Chart Run: 31-17-3-3-10-9-19-33-35-40-39-36-34-34-36-43-46-x-48-x-42-42-x-35-x-49-x (22 weeks) 2021 EOY Chart Position: 10 Another entry for Anyone in my EOY for 2022. Last year's #10 still manages to sneak into this years chart. I love this song and firmly believe it is Justin's very best song. It is gorgeous and the video is great too. A proper pop song from the Biebs and a song I still love to this day.

Hold Me Closer was so cute, I would have preferred more Britney vocals but I was buzzing to see her back in the charts  Easy Lover is a great track, honestly Ellie's efforts this era have been fantastic. abcdefu is still dreadful

Don't Wake Me Up is an underrated smash. Bop <3

Hey Joseph :) I really wasn't a fan of When You're Gone in the end, I got quite bored. Thanks for commenting :) Lonely Heart was a bop, should have been a hit imo. Thanks for the comment! :) Hey :) Freaking Me Out is lush, one of her very best. I'm glad you've changed your opinion on Ava now :) Super Freaky Girl isn't Nicki's best I do agree, but it's much better than the last few years releases. Thanks for the comment :)

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 81. Selena Gomez - The Heart Wants What It Wants ij_0p_6qTss Release Date: January 1, 2014 | UK Chart Peak: 30 Peak: DNC | Adam's Chart Run: N/A I can't believe this only got to #30 back in 2014! :o. I rediscovered my love for this song this year and it still sounds as great as I first remember. This was released at a time of heartbreak for me in 2014 so I resonated with it a lot. Probably among Selena's very best.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 82. Clean Bandit - Everything But You (feat. A7S) Osq0RgGVwK8 Release Date: March 25, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: DNC Peak: DNC | Adam's Chart Run: N/A A pretty standard Clean Bandit track, what you'd expect. Nowhere near there best. Errrr, not much left to say.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 83. Nathan Dawe & T.Matthias - Goodbye GgBsBkLZQjg Release Date: September 24, 2021 | UK Chart Peak: 85 Peak: 02 | Adam's Chart Run: 2-2-4-5-9-12-39-x-46-x (8 weeks) 2021 EOY Chart Position: 85 Goodbye! Well it certainly wasn't as Nathan Dawe's extremely generic dance-pop release with T.Matthias returns for a second successive entry in my End of Year chart, improving it's position by 2 places. I like this but it's by no means a memorable track and I'm not quite sure how it's got here

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 84. Jax Jones, Martin Solveig, GRACEY & Europa - Lonely Heart k-5IK3-GMZY Release Date: June 3, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: 70 Peak: 28 | Adam's Chart Run: 45-28-40-x (3 weeks) These type of collaborations are always either really good... or really terrible. Thankfully for Jax Jones, this was a masterstroke of a song and really deserved so much better. The chorus and hook are such an earworm and make this a very replayable track.

All By Myself is a great collab, I love it

Hey Serg :) Yeah Rain On Me really has been a smash on my charts. I'm not sure it'll make it next year tho

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 85. Heathers the Musical - Big Fun 0_9rwh_0J2A Release Date: March 1, 2019 | UK Chart Peak: DNC Peak: 27 | Adam's Chart Run: 33-45-30-42-x-34-30-27-x (7 weeks) It's time for BIG FUN (big fun!) at #85 with the first entry from Heathers. I truly am hooked on this show, as any of my personal chart readers will know.. It's so good and the soundtrack is just fab. Big Fun is the big ensemble moment in the show and is so much fun to see perform live.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 86. Shawn Mendes - When You're Gone tp4fUH2E8uc Release Date: March 31, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: 32 Peak: 15 | Adam's Chart Run: 15-x-43-x (2 weeks) Shawn Mendes returned with a heartbreak song this year, I really liked it and though it was lyrically a great track. Sadly though I do think that Shawn's days as a guaranteed hit-maker are behind him as this didn't really do a lot either officially or in my chart.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 87. Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande - Rain On Me AoAm4om0wTs Release Date: May 22, 2020 | UK Chart Peak: 01 Peak: 01 | Adam's Chart Run: 1-1-1-1-1-7-9-5-3-3-3-8-12-17-9-3-3-4-13-22-29-29-25-25-21-17-26-27-37-30-21-13-13-18-20-25-33-39-42-42-x-44-48-x-38-x-44-48-x-39-35-x (47 weeks) 2020 EOY Chart Position: 01 2021 EOY Chart Position: 95 Back for a third appearance in my End of Year chart; it's the pop smash from Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. Rain On Me has gone on to become one of the biggest LGBT+ anthems of modern times and really is just perfection. I still adore the video.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 88. Jesy Nelson - Boyz (feat. Nicki Minaj) u884fEIPY3g Release Date: October 8, 2021 | UK Chart Peak: 04 Peak: 03 | Adam's Chart Run: 3-4-11-12-13-9-15-29-35-28-22-16-23-x-47-x (14 weeks) 2021 EOY Chart Position: 95 The UK Baddie and the Barbie make another entry into my EOY chart after finishing at #95 last year. Their low position last year coming as a result of a late release. I can only imagine it's still here because I played it towards the start of 2022. I rarely listen to this track, if at all these days. It was an alright track but got so much stick that I feel it will be Jesy Nelson's only hit.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 89. Demi Lovato - DEAD FRIENDS If5jE_19B0g Release Date: August 19, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: DNC Peak: 23 | Adam's Chart Run: 30-47-x-25-29-29-23-37-46-x (8 weeks) Demi Lovato gave us a completely changed era in 2022, reverting back to their oldier, rockier days. With their album, HOLY FVCK being my Album of the Year, it comes as no surprise to already see an entry here in the top 100. DEAD FRIENDS is a fantastic track and pays ode to those 'friends' who have abandoned Demi since their pop days. I really hope Demi keeps this rockier sound as they sound so good.

This Hell really is great  always good to see Ava too.

Bang Bang was just so underrated! Thanks Sergej!
