Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 90. Avril Lavigne - Bite Me ciqUEV9F0OY Release Date: December 17, 2021 | UK Chart Peak: 61 Peak: 03 | Adam's Chart Run: 13-7-6-5-7-10-3-4-7-28-37-44-x The lead single from Avril Lavigne's return album, Love Sux. Bite Me was an OK lead single but I would have preferred another track to lead the album campaign. Still, it was great to hear Avril return to her rockier side with this album and Bite Me has a decent enough hook.

Current countdown recap: 91. Fergie - A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (feat. Q-Tip & GoonRock) 92. Nicki Minaj - Super Freaky Girl 93. Rita Ora (with Imanbek) - Bang Bang 94. Avril Lavigne - Bois Lie (feat. Machine Gun Kelly) 95. SIX - Ex-Wives 96. Legally Blonde - Omigod You Guys 97. Regard & Years & Years - Hallucination 98. Dear Evan Hansen - You Will Be Found 99. Ava Max - Freaking Me Out 100. Gabry Ponte - The Finger (feat. Georgia Ku)

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 91. Fergie - A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (feat. Q-Tip & GoonRock) 0ZgjmE6xdaw Release Date: January 1, 2013 | UK Chart Peak: 90 Peak: 14 | Adam's Chart Run: 23-14-15-18-x-48-39-x (6 weeks) This was a surprise entry to my chart this year. I've never seen The Great Gatsby or heard this song before. In my previous job working in entertainments, this song was used during one of the shows in a touring production and I loved it. Another song from said production will appear in this chart too. I couldn't believe it was Fergie when I saw the actual song title, doesn't sound like her! A bop though for sure.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 92. Nicki Minaj - Super Freaky Girl j5uAR9w7LBg Release Date: August 12, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: 05 Peak: 03 | Adam's Chart Run: 22-13-12-8-5-3-13-14-11-9- (10 weeks)* *Still charting A welcome return to form for Nicki Minaj this year. Having not really hit the heights of pop perfection for a number of years, I did wonder if we would ever get classic Nicki back, thankfully we did and Super Freaky Girl was a great return to form even if the 'eeeeeeeeeeeee' does get a little jarring at times.

Hey James :) That's a great little run for Mimi there, it's a great track :) Just can't get into Made You Look at all, it's so cringey  Underneath the Tree underperforming for you this year :o it's had it's best year for me this year. One More Sleep not even breaking top 30 :( Merry Christmas :)

Hey Sergej :) Dancing On Cars is nice but Marry Me is my fav from the album I think Nice to see the big climb for Weapons :)

Hey Sergej :) I'm glad you like the Olly Murs entries, his album is really good :) Hey James :) I love One More Sleep, but then I used to be obsessed with Leona. I was due to see her Xmas tour this year but it's been postponed til 2023. Anti-Hero really is stunning and is only falling short due to Christmas. Yeah Weapons hasn't quite hit the dizzy heights for me but at least it managed another #1 for Ava. I'm glad you are liking her music now :) Merry Christmas James :)

A new track has been released; “Dancing’s Done” and it is FAB.

When You're Gone was a great release from Shawn. I think his days as a 'big' artist are behind him now though. When The Lights Go Down is awesome too

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 93. Rita Ora (with Imanbek) - Bang Bang veD7euSEvqc Release Date: February 12, 2021 | UK Chart Peak: DNC Peak: 01 | Adam's Chart Run: 5-2-1-1-1-1-1-2-5-3-9-18-20-28-35-x-23-47-x-31-29-23-25-45-x-48-x (23 weeks) 2021 EOY Chart Position: 01 Bang Bang was my #1 song of 2021, and it makes a brief reappearance here in 2022 at #93. This song was criminally underrated and I for one loved the use of the sample. What an absolute bop. A pop tragedy that it wasn't a hit.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 94. Avril Lavigne - Bois Lie (feat. Machine Gun Kelly) AvWOBY_aJZ0 Release Date: February 25, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: DNC Peak: DNC* | Adam's Chart Run: N/A At #94 is our first entry from Avril Lavigne. It was a welcome return to music for Avril and I really enjoyed her album, Love Sux. Bois Lie never charted for me and probably finds itself here due to my continual replaying of the album in the earlier part of 2022. A good song, but not the best on there.

I love this show and even had the pleasure of working at it last week meaning I got to see the show twice in one day :D. Ex-Wives is still such a brilliant opening number and I just love the way they use the original poem in this song. I have been a fan of the show since day one and to see it become such a massive hit in the UK and abroad is so great. Go and see it if you haven't already.

Thanks for the comments guys! It's definitely gone under the radar this year!

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 96. Legally Blonde - Omigod You Guys IZs40JGVX-E Release Date: January 1, 2010 | UK Chart Peak: DNC Peak: 42* | Adam's Chart Run: 42-* *Still charting. Another musical entry here and it comes from Legally Blonde. Now, I only saw this show this year when it was revived at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. And I absolutely loved it - although I would love to see the show with a full set. Courtney Bowman was amazing as Elle Woods and I loved how camp and inclusive the cast were.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 97. Regard & Years & Years - Hallucination 0rfBL_fCsI4 Release Date: February 18, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: 56 Peak: DNC | Adam's Chart Run: N/A Hallucination didn't manage to chart for me at all this year, but has coasted it's way along to a top 100 position this year. It's quite generic, as is most DJ-Pop collaborations but Years & Years sounds stunning on this, as they always do. The music video however... hideous.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 98. This song is widely regarded amongst theatre fans as a song of healing and this track is stunning from start to finish. I am still gutted it has left the West End.

Hey James :) Ghost of You at #1 :o I wasn't expecting that! Anti-Hero with that drop, ouch. At least it's still top 10! I may be in a minority but I really can't stand AIWFCIY, it may be because I work in London and it's all I ever hear but I'm so over it lol. Underneath The Tree  beautiful song. One More Sleep  it's losing popularity though I think. Kelly seems to be more popular now but maybe that's down to Spotify. Weapons :D

Hey Sergej! Dancing On Cars is one of Olly's best for a while so a good choice in your top 3. Ouch at the drop for Anti-Hero :( I'm not feeling The News yet, but hoping it grows. I can't wait to see Paramore live next year :)

Hey :) Glad you like the #1 choice this week, it's a great track from Ava :) Hey you :) Weapons is a great track, however it may be quite short lived at the top for me. Anti-Hero is still going strong, I can assure you. It'll stick around for a good while similar to her other #1 runs for me. :) Yeah I was shocked at Lionheart being top 20 as I'm not fussed on it really. It's too instrumental. :/ King's & Queens is among my fav Ava's songs but not my favourite. It sticks around because it's not one I skip very often

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 99. Ava Max - Freaking Me Out 3AKPaq0IaDk Release Date: July 31, 2019 | UK Chart Peak: DNC Peak: 41 | Adam's Chart Run: 41-x (1 week) At #99 is our first entry from Ava Max with a song released back in 2019. Freaking Me Out is a very different sound to Ava's most popular tracks and is a welcome change among her discography.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2022: 100. Gabry Ponte - The Finger (feat. Georgia Ku) KAxiKPfwaAw Release Date: April 1, 2022 | UK Chart Peak: DNC Peak: 39 | Adam's Chart Run: 39-41-x (2 weeks) Kicking off my top 100 songs of 2022, we have a rarely unknown track that didn't manage to chart or really take off anywhere to be honest. I really enjoy it thoug. As one of those 'F.U' type of songs, this really does it justice and is an absolute earworm.
