Slade truly does make me feel Christmassy hearing it!

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021: 80. Little Mix - Breathe IYhOE0fNzAI Release Date: November 6, 2020 UK Chart Peak: DNC Adam's Chart Run: (17 weeks) | Peak: 14 | 27-25-26-14-25-23-14-34-27-23-34-38-46-x-48-36-33-x-23-x A consistent appearance on my chart at #80 with Breathe, the closing song from Little Mix's sixth studio album, Confetti. This song when released didn't strike me with much, but then Jesy left (before the controversy) and it took on a whole new meaning. Fast forward a year and it sounds even more raw with the recent news. It's a decent closer for the album but doesn't really threaten the group's other ballads.

Christ it’s even WORSE than I imagined

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021: 81. Becky Hill - Through The Night (feat. 220 KID) xCvTL6ETJ-g Release Date: August 27, 2021 UK Chart Peak: DNC Adam's Chart Run: (8 weeks) | Peak: 08 | 9-8-25-26-19-19-23-46-x Finishing off the 81-90 group we have an album track from Becky Hill with Through The Night. We have now come to expect Becky to team up with major DJs to deliver her hits, and Through The Night does NOT disappoint. For me it's by far the best track from the album and I hope it gets the single treatment before the campaign is over. Some would argue that Becky can't get a hit without a feature and it's kind of true, but it's working wonders for her so if it's not broke, don't fix it. BOP.

Wales have just announced that nightclubs will be closed from 27th December and social distancing required in offices. It begins.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021: 82. Lucy Spraggan - Run T3sLlZl0v2M Release Date: December 11, 2020 UK Chart Peak: DNC Adam's Chart Run: (9 weeks) | Peak: 19 | 40-19-25-27-x-49-47-x-29-25-42-x Lucy Spraggan has had a fantastic year for releases in 2021 IMO. Her best work ever has come out of this era and she makes her first appearance here with Run at #82. This uplifting track was released at the end of last year but it really got me through the lockdown in January, I took up outdoor exercising during lockdown and this track sounded great for motivation. I love Lucy and think she is seriously underrated but I was delighted to see her get her album to #5! :D

Love to see Becky Hill so high on your albums list!

I'm surprised to see Dawn of Chromatica on here tbh! Thought it was so random lol. I looooooved the Free Woman remix though

I agree, it's her best song imo! :) thanks for the comment! Hey Sergej! Glad you like the entries so far! By Your Side is a great song to feature in your list :)

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021: 83. Griff - Black Hole B2SK_jb68dk Release Date: January 18, 2021 UK Chart Peak: 18 Adam's Chart Run: (5 weeks) | Peak: 03 | 50-29-3-3-4-x At #83 we have another song that faced the same fate as By Your Side, in that I had a break from charting for a while meaning that this track dropped out from #4. Black Hole was released way back in January and I didn't hear it when it first came out, but I first discovered the track when Griff performed it on the Brit Awards. She gave a great performance and it made me want to check out the track. I don't find myself going back to this very often at all though but a pleasant song nonetheless.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021: 84. Calvin Harris - By Your Side (feat. Tom Grennan) 4hu5iCqQVcM Release Date: June 4, 2021 UK Chart Peak: 09 Adam's Chart Run: (3 weeks) | Peak: 01 | 6-3-1-x When you think of a massive pop-dance banger, Calvin Harris will often come to mind, his discography of ten number ones says it all. By Your Side is no different, featuring the raspy vocals of Tom Grennan, it does what Calvin does best, with a great hook. In my opinion, I think the beat goes on for far too long, because the actual melody of the song is great. I also think I need to explain the #1-OUT chart run . Basically, I work away during the Summer months for a major holiday resort and we had a super busy Summer this year, so my chart took a back seat a little bit, meaning that when I returned to it, a lot of songs simple just disappeared. This doesn't reflect my love for this song though, it was a total banger that really got vibing in Summer. :)

So glad to see some mutual love for Zoe! :)

Little Bit of Love is still sounding stunning to me. love Tom

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021: 85. Zoe Wees - Ghost TffJ74jV0sc Release Date: April 19, 2021 UK Chart Peak: DNC Adam's Chart Run: (6 weeks) | Peak: 02 | 33-23-5-2-10-14-x Zoe Wees enters here at #85 with her single Ghost released in April this year. I love Zoe Wees, she is absolutely incredible. She found fame in 2017 on The Voice Kids and I can't believe she didn't win. Her deep, soulful voice is stunning and everything I've heard from Zoe has really impressed me. Ghost in particular is phenomenal, my favourite song from her by far.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021: 86. Syn Cole - Breathe (feat. kaspara) Cepc_GpHy5U Release Date: January 22, 2021 UK Chart Peak: DNC Adam's Chart Run: (6 weeks) | Peak: 15 | 31-21-15-20-32-47-x At #86 we have a relatively unknown song by an artist called Syn Cole. I discovered this song just by looking through New Music Friday on Spotify. It features the vocals of kaspara, who has a really pleasant voice to listen to. It's a really cute song and was quite upbeat for a January release in lockdown. It's quite summer-y and probably would have been better releasing in May. Check it out if you haven't heard it :)

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021: 87. Demi Lovato - Dancing With The Devil EAg69LaLlS0 Release Date: March 26, 2021 UK Chart Peak: 50 Adam's Chart Run: (10 weeks) | Peak: 06 | 42-24-19-6-15-19-17-16-24-47-x Demi Lovato released their comeback single in March this year launching the new album, it only managed to reach #50 on the official chart, but I find myself not surprised by that somehow. Demi is a fantastic lyricist and tells stories through their songs very well... but they are starting to sound quite same-y these days and I feel that is reflected in it's popularity. It's a beautiful song and they sound beautiful on it. There's no denying Demi has gone through some awful things in recent years and I really hope they continue to thrive. I've seen Demi live and they truly are *incredible*.

ADAM'S TOP 40 - (#68) - 15/12/2021 LAST TIME: Years & Years & Galantis were my highest entry at #22 with Sweet Talker, and Little Mix made it three weeks at #1 with Cut You Off, with not much competition this week, will they make it a month on top today? Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021: 88. KSI - Really Love (feat. Craig David & Digital Farm Animals e1lFNMo5qcQ Release Date: October 23, 2020 UK Chart Peak: 03 Adam's Chart Run: (5 weeks) | Peak: 41 | 45-48-41-x-43-47-x The second entry from KSI here with his late 2020 release featuring Craig David and Digital Farm Animals. Really Love is a solid track and to be honest I'm surprised it didn't even make my top 40. I suspect it's here because I don't tend to skip the song very often so it's playcount must be quite high considering it didn't do too well for me officially. Listening to it whilst writing this post and it still sounds quite fresh. I love Craig David so having him on the track is also a bonus.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021: 89. Nathan Dawe x T.Matthias - Goodbye GgBsBkLZQjg Release Date: September 24, 2021 UK Chart Peak: 85 Adam's Chart Run: (7 weeks*) | Peak: 02 | 2-2-4-5-9-12-39 *Still Charting A recent track makes an appearance at #89, with Nathan Dawe's relatively new track Goodbye. It hasn't really done a lot in the charts but in my opinion this is by far his best track. I'm kind of a sucker for those higher auto-tuned voices on tracks and it's done to justice on this song. It's a song all about getting rid of your ex. A whole bop and more people need to hear it!

Glad to see some love for Zara, she's very underrated IMO. :)

Always nice to see some appreciation for Bang Bang, that'll rank quite highly on mine.

Adam's End Of Year Chart - Top 100 - 2021: 90. Lady Gaga - Replay ZTwpCLZLdRs Release Date: May 29, 2020 UK Chart Peak: DNC 2020 EOY Chart Position: 16 Adam's Chart Run: (14 weeks) | Peak: 11 | 23-15-17-12-21-17-13-12-11-47-x-43-x-40-33-34-x Lady Gaga makes her first appearance on this year's EOY chart with Replay from last year's #1 album, Chromatica. It charted at #16 in my EOY chart last year and makes an appearance this year at #90. This is probably my one of my favourite songs from Chromatica. I love it and the retro feel. I am still waiting on a live performance of this, hopefully one day! It hasn't really got old for me and I enjoyed the remix version that was released too. :)

Totally agree with the Gayle song, doing nothing for me!
