So I've seen some of the video's (on youtube) and have the two accoustic tracks released so far on the CMWYS and Lithium singles, but does anyone know if EV are planning to release the acoustic set either on cd, dvd or download?? I really like this accoustic session :D

I love Lithium, but I can see why its charting well - I haven't heard it on the radio once and only just realised the single was out! I do love The Open Door but it isn't radio friendly, even though I agree radio/music channels only play the same old stuff, and I do think its a harder album for new listeners to get into. I'm still trying to get some of the songs in my head and I've had the album since release. Also, I do think EV need to come over and do more publicity. I'm not sure which track could be the next single after this....

I really love Everything Burns and I'm looking forward to a solo album from him. His work is more 'pop/rock' than Amy's but that's what made them a great team. I like TOD a lot but I'm still not fully into it and I think it will be more difficult for new fans to access. I do think Ben has a lot to prove as TOD is such a success so it will be interresting to see what he comes up with.

I went to my local Asda this morning - they've removed them from the shelf. The guy told me the cd's were faulty or some such rubbish and that the album wont be released until next year. I agree, I think it would be a waste of money for the Mecury to re-do the album but it might be one reason for holding it back. I was thinking though, wasn't Shakira's Oral Fixation Vol.2 delayed? I'm sure it was supposed to be released in Autumn 2005 and actually came out early this year. Then the new version featuring 'Hips Don't Lie' was released a month or two later. Hope they don't do that to us !

Congrats Dazzle. I think you got lucky - they must have shipped the album before the news came through to hold them back. There seems to have been a lot of mis-communication to retailers. #79 was dissappointing for 'Last Year' but I hven't heard the song played on the radio once. I've heard lots of Lucie's singles from 'Breathe In' being played recently but nothing new and no mention of the new single/album. Maybe the single wasn't pushed enough. On a side note, do you think that when the album comes out next year we'll still get the same version that has been produced for release now, or will we see a bonus track or a new cover perhaps???

I agree Sam - Lucie does better in the album charts than the single charts. Plus I think these 2 track cd singles don't encourage people to part with their money. For those, like us, who already know Lucie's music its a great bonus to have a b-side, but if your new to her music perhaps adding a couple of the well-known tracks from Breath In adds an incentive to buy. Plus I have to say when there's just a new b-side involved I just download the new track from itunes. The CD single has to have the video or something more than just one track on it for me to buy the whole thing. Gotta save space in my house! :D

Hi all - just spotted this: The Same Side UK on ebay There's three of them on ebay at the moment by different sellers. I'm thinking that the message didn't get through to the sellers that they weren't going to receive the stock or that somehow they've gotten hold of it. I hope that no-ones going to get ripped off ! Has anyone visited a shop today to check its definitely not available?? (I'm guessing its not) I'm at home ill and can't investigate ...

Thanks Nat! I know, I've been on there and tortured myself with the previews of the songs. I was really hoping to hold out for the disk. The only thing with itunes is I hate spending the money and then not getting the booklet and all the trimmings. I thought about ordering the Dutch cd, but I decided (back when I thought we were getting TSS this month) to hold out. So I'm gonna stick with the plan and get the UK version :D In the meantime I've downloaded the Last Year single with Morning for A Child and the Last Year soho session which is amazing. It'll keep me going a bit longer B)

I saw a stack of the cd's in Vigin Oxford Street earlier this week, and they were in a good position with all the other new singles. Nice and visable :)

Wasn't the tour originally rumoured to be this autumn and then it was pushed back to early 2007? It's a shame about the album Definitely Lucie needs more publicity and air play in the UK - I haven't even heard Last Year on the radio :( Although I want the album now, the delay will turn out to be a good thing with all the extra advertising that can go into it.

I hope the forum is up and running soon too - I really miss it :cry:

Hi All !! This is my first post on this forum but I am the same Kildare from the official site. I am so glad I found this place!! The official site is down and if I hadn't found it I wouldn't know about the album being put back. It's all very strange. The album is obviously finished and ready for release (as its already out in Holland). I'm wondering if some bigger thing is going on behind the scenes - first the site is updated then its taken down and now the album is pushed back.... OK maybe I'm just looking for a conspiracy :rolleyes: I really want The Same Side!
