Coldplay's latest hit is an ode to the assets of Mariah Carey. Except you would have had to have been at the China Club on Thursday to hear its one-off performance. Chris Martin's band was giving a private concert for winners of a contest sponsored by radio station WPLJ, when he was asked about the competition between Coldplay's "X&Y" and Carey's "The Emancipation of Mimi" for biggest-selling album of 2005. When WPLJ reporter Brad Blanks asked Martin how he felt about having Mariah on his tail, he replied: "She's not, but one of her boobs is. They do most of her work. Last week I was chased down the street by an enormous boob. I think it was hers." Martin even made up a song on the spot, sitting at his keyboard: "Man's been traveling through space and man's been to the moon and man's spent most of his intelligence desiring Mariah Carey boobs." As the crowd laughed, he continued: "Mariah Carey's boobs are so nice, and she don't mess around. If she had been aboard the Titanic, there's no way that ship would have gone down." She is touring! She said in an interview 'I am gonna be touring later this year' or something like that in an interview! Really looking forward to it. She better do lots of dates in the UK :dance:

:lol: Apparently they asked Whitney and Mariah too.. both declined I think though :blink: Mariah Carey has been put off working on American Idol by the prospect of appearing alongside Simon Cowell. The diva has been tipped to be taking the place of current judge Paula Abdul on the show, but she is not too keen. Mariah told The Globe: "I love the talent and all that, but Simon has a real attitude problem and I think he is way too cruel. I guess other than as a guest, that could rule me out.

I think she will definatly come to the UK if she tours... but if she only does one venue they are gonna sell sooo fast I will probably have to pay top price on ebay -_-. Let's hope she does 3 venues like Charmbracelet tour! That's if she tours <_<

On Power 106, "Say Somethin'" was praised by the DJs and one of them even sang the song to Mariah! The DJs also commented about hoping "Stay The Night" would be a single. Mariah said that a tour is not set in stone yet but she is looking forward to doing one, perhaps in the summer, and wants to please her fans. Let's hope she really does one... I shall be going :D

This may be totally useless but it has a UK release date of 8th May. Any idea when it's being sent to UK radios so people can start requesting it? Thanks!
